Do you think the Sanrio/welcome amiibo villagers will be "regular" villagers later?

Do you think the Sanrio and WA new villagers will be starters/villagers who can move on randomly come to the campsite etc in the next AC? Or do you think they'll also be special or exclusive to New Leaf? I think the returning villagers in WA will become regular villagers but the Sanrios will be NL exclusive.

Yeah, I don't think they'll become regular villagers, there's a high chance unless nintendo gets enough requests and starts losing cash for them being exclusive xd

Assuming the next AC has amiibo support, which I'm thinking it probably will since this is Nintendo's new DLC platform in a sense, then I don't see why the Sanrio villagers won't be compatible with it, or any of the new amiibo cards. I think this is something that will stick around.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 50 new/returning villagers become regular villagers that can move in randomly in the next game. That seems to make the most sense, but I do think the Sanrio ones will stay exclusive to the cards.

I feel like Sanrio and Welcome Amiibo villagers won't be regular villagers, but that's just me.

I believe the 50 returning ones have a more of a chance to make an appearance in the next game.

Sanrio, Splatoon, Legend of Zelda ones and Felyne (and maybe Filly) may not be returning in the next game...It just feels like it.

I think the 50 RV villagers that returned from the other games will probably become normal villagers in the next game.

Everything else from Zelda, Splatoon, Sanrio, Felyne... probably won't make the cut. Of course, a good chance is that those villagers will still be in the next AC game, but only obtainable through the amiibo figures/cards.
