I've loved the game thus far, but one of my biggest complaints has been about the furniture diversity so this thought has really sparked a fire in me
I'm rather certain a lot more furniture sets will be returning in the near future with DLCs. Assuming this is true (and I really hope it is versus not being in it at all), I can't help but be a little annoyed that some sets that have been in previous installments need to be released in phases. I have no problems with the seasonal ones / event ones being phased, but things like Gracie sets and others that are currently missing that were already in the game being spread out feels... manipulative?
Don't get me wrong I really love the concept of DLCs (even paid ones!). I think there's a lot of excitement in knowing there's content coming in the future especially in the console gaming arena since that wasn't something I grew up with. However, when it ends up being used for things that probably should already be in the base game considering previous versions, I feel like it becomes a rather cheap manipulation tactic to feign excitement/re-playability over content that isn't truly new. I probably sound really cranky and entitled over this, but I'd just rather not be left feeling like things were purposely held back for the sake of marketing. I might just try to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope it was due to development time crunch rather than the former
