I totally friend-ship (lol) Marshal and Raymond. As the most popular villagers of NL and NH, I think they’d make an adorable duo of best friends.

I ship Del and Alli (the alligators) romantically, I really love the relationships between snooties and crankies and they are the two on my island. They live right next to each other and 95% of the time I can find them hanging out together on the plaza it's so cute

It's not exactly a ship, but I feel it's relevant enough - way back when I was an AC newbie and knew nothing about how there were multiple species and everyone is a recolour, Vesta and Pietro both moved in around the same time and very close to one another. I noticed they were both sheep and wondered if they were related in any way, but then Pietro gave me that default dialogue about 'people are saying me and Vesta are cousins! I can't comment on it to protect her privacy' and to this day I like to headcanon them as cousins!

In New Leaf I really liked Ankha/Kabuki and Whitney/Skye. Ankha and Kabuki were only in one of my side towns but I really want them both back in my island.

I also ended up shipping Beau and Cookie, who were always spending time sitting on the same bench together and being awkwardly cute. Their interactions together were just as cute, too.
