Do you like having visitors?

Personally, I really don't mind it when people visit my town, but that only applies for trades. Usually when I trade, I host, and I leave whatever I'm trading at the train station and just rely on people to take and give what we agreed on while I run around the town. Besides trading, I've never had anybody from the forums "play" in my town, and I wouldn't really want to. Firstly, for fear of griefers, secondly, because so many things are impossible to do with visitors, like donating to the museum, the upgraded furniture movement system, editing designs, etc. I do, however, really like having my friend come over to my house and use my sister's 3ds and game to play with me. Since the in-game chat is such a hassle, it's nice to just sit across from someone while playing.

Aside from the limitations I think it's fine as long as its not someone who seems untrustworthy. On the rare occasion a trader asks to look around my town I'm generally fine with it ! I've had some positive experiences with it I'm generally a pretty trusting person as well so eh, I don't mind

i love having trusted vistors over, like if we pm on here! tinycomet is honestly the best experience with a vistor, probably because they're a good friend lol. i like having different opinions on my town! and even if typing is hard, it's cool if they're patient with you <3 i also like showing off my house when things look nice<3 i only have 2 rooms definitely done anyways hah c:

Yikes! That's so disrespectful. There are people who would give away items here FOR FREE and TBT bells are easy to get. I don't see the point in stealing. I'm a very trusting person in sort of things like this, I mean it's just a game, but I can't believe people don't have enough manners and would just do that. I myself, would feel shy asking someone if I can visit their town because I'm afraid I'd destroy a hybrid or whatnot lol. I would literally tip toe walk.

I'd love visitors if we are friends. I think it's one of the fun things about ACNL because it gets boring playing alone once you've already done everything you want for your town.

I think it's fun to have other people visit your town and see all of your hard work and effort you put into making the town! Especially if they're friends. I'll have to get to know strangers first before I can trust them into visiting my town since I've heard of stories of people getting their plants destroyed/stolen after inviting strangers over...

the chat system is way too annoying. when i played with a friend before we would play together but we would talk on the phone while we played or when i'd go visit him in Virginia we'd sit on the couch and play but i don't really play with other people

i'll trade or let someone visit my re-tail or those kinds of things

i also don't want to hear my dudes talk about other people i find that to be really annoying.

I never saw the point in having people over, it's hard enough chatting for trades for me, I'm not worried about stealing but it's so tedious to talk that I'd rather not.
HOWEVER, if they were playing right next to me (if I had friends who played) I would enjoy it, I think.

Eh....not really.I think people can get a much better idea of what my towns are about by using the Dream Suite and not having to deal with being disconnected all the time and having to type out everything they say.

I'm the same! I am nervous to visit other people's towns even for trades sometimes, because I don't want to accidentally do something wrong, and I do the slow walk as well. haha I think it's better to be more chill about it, like "it's just a game" is a good attitude to have. I was really upset when it happened, mostly because I think I felt like something I spent a lot of time on was being disrespected by some random person, when I try to be super conscientous of others, and I think I just feel like taking things that don't belong to you is wrong in general. But I can always get more mushrooms/hybrids tbf ?\_(ツ)_/?

I enjoy having visitors when i am around them in real life, its too hard to communicate using the in game chat system. Other than that i worry that i will get someone that will run through my flowers or steal them and its stressful to try and follow them around. I have had great luck with people from the forums and i worry a lot less when it comes to people here. If only there were a more refined way to communicate in game, that would make all the difference for me.

Yes I don't mind, since I don't have anything to be stolen cause my town is fairly new & i don't have any hybrids laying around or anything so I'm pretty safe lmfao
but if I did have a complete town then I'd probably only let people who are trustworthy to look around & not suspicious random people lmfao I will only trade with them then end the session

I enjoy it if I know the person well or at least, have talked to them privately/have vm'd me prior to visit. I'm not fond of random visits and having multiple visitors coming in and out, plus I'm the kind of person who loves chatting/talking with whoever visits my town so I'm not sure if I could handle if there's a lot more so if they all aren't acquainted to each other. I don't like it when someone feels left out.

I mean I know it's just a silly little game but jesus it kinda stresses me out a lot. It's just weird to have some random person come to your town. Not to mention I have trust issues and i'm always nervous about people stealing things like my mushrooms and hybrids. It's a shame you need to be able to play with others to get certain stuff- I much prefer being a solo player.

I used to have a visitors come all the time and play with me till I got one crazy visitor. She would rant on how she was being abused by her BF but then contradict her story all the time. I think she enjoyed getting the "pity" attention. Because she was kind of degrading I stop being friends with her and stop accepting visitors. But I do like doing quick trades

The only visitors I have ever had are my son and his girlfriend. We are all in the same room together so we can talk as normal. That is great fun. I find it very difficult to talk to strangers so no I would not like to have other visitors.

I don't entertain unless I am transacting and if so, it's just a quick pick-up/send-off. I am a solitary player and always have been. Occasionally, my daughter might visit or I might visit her, but that's it.
