do you keep your tools with you at all times?

i do. i store them in my letters so my pockets arent clogged up, like so

i have it specifically like that so i know exactly which one is in which.

Golden shovel, Golden can, Golden Rod and Golden net. I rarely use the axe and never use the slingshot. $ spaces still leaves me with 14 open spots and im ok with that

I always have my basic tools on me (net, rod, shovel, pail), in my regular inventory.

I also keep these on me, but in the top row of letters:
Golden Slingshot | Golden Axe | Wetsuit | Megaphone | Toy Hammer

Toy hammer is essential. You never know when you're going to have to beat the **** out of someone.

I keep them in my pockets, not letters which are stored for other items. I keep them in order as well.

The order they go is: Net, Fishing Rod, Shovel, Watering Can, Wetsuit and Axe. They are all golden, and the Slingshot is left out with a reason.

I left the Slingshot out because all you ever find in the presents is the balloon series which I hate. There's just no reason to use it anymore except for the Badge which I'll get someday.

Yes I carry them all the time, just in case I need them. I always have the space to do it so it's not a problem.

I keep my wetsuit, rod, net and shovel stored in letters in my pockets, and my slingshot in my inventory ready for any balloons as I'm working towards my gold badge. My watering can I never use and axe very rarely use, so they're in my locker.

No I don't keep any tools on me. I have a space around my town tree where my shovel, net, axe, watering can and megaphone go. My wetsuit and the fishing rod are on the beach. I usually have no need for them anyway so I see no point in carrying them around.

Funny how a lot of us store them in our letters. x) I keep mine in my inventory, but move them to my letters when I go shopping.
I also keep various items like glow wands, fireworks, foods etc. close to my event plaza in case I feel like toying around, and for dream visitors. x)
I have two wetsuits; one for each beach; that I leave close to the beach walk. I like how they look like treasure chests when dropped, very decorative.

I only always have a slingshot on me (for the balloon badge). As of late I've always been carrying a balloon with me as well (very important).

I do not like my inventory getting clogged up and I already know I do not need any of the fish/bugs.

I always need to keep my golden tools on me 24/7, unless I am doing a trade with somebody that actually requires me to actually put them down for once haha. I am always renovating my town and I usually need my golden axe to get rid of trees I don't need or my golden shovel to remove bushes that are not required anymore. Due to me always on the go with my town, I am constantly needy of my tools. As for my golden net and golden fishing rod, because I have still yet to get the badges for completing the fish and bug encyclopedias, I am always trying to fit time as well to catch any available bugs or fish I see I also need to get the balloon popping badge so my golden slingshot comes in handy for when those balloons randomly go by (I always need the slingshot of most tools since the balloon are very crafty with their timing) My golden watering can is also used to help breed hybrid flowers and to help water my pretty flowers (even though I have the Beautiful Ordinance on lol)

I keep all of my tools with me except for the wet suit. I have one on the ground at each end of the beach in case I decide I need to go diving. The tools do take up a lot of space though, which is annoying.
