Do you have any internet friends or in an E-Relationship?

Hi all! Just curious to see who else here has internet friends or is currently in an E-Relationship and where/how you met them. I myself have multiple internet friends and in an online relationship with one of my best friends that I met on an app called Amino.

Well I had one internet friend, but last month me met in person, so I guess we're not really internet friends anymore.

We met on this app called Patook. It's a friend meeting app.

I had a lot of internet friends once upon a time but sadly we all grew apart I dont really have any now, I wish I did though

I did have an online relationship a few years ago. my ex was someone I met on a different forum website, and we dated online for about a year (though we saw each other like every month in person) before I moved in with him for about 2 years. however that relationship didn't work out haha.

Anyway yeah, I have a lot of friends from here on TBT and on Discord. I have enjoyed talking to several people in particular lately, because they’re there for me when no one else is.

As far as relationships go, I’m not in one right now and I would prefer not to be in one.

I probably have more online friends than in real life friends. I don’t meet a lot of people through work or just going out and doing stuff lol, so most of my socialization is online and through gaming mostly. Although for both IRL and online friends, I can count the ones I’m really close to on one hand. I’ve met a couple as well. I don’t think i’ve had any bad experiences meeting my online friends in person either. There’s two girls I met on a splatoon discord who I pretty much talk to everyday, the moment I wake up and the moment I go to bed XD but there’s little to no chance i’ll meet them probably, since we’re in totally different sides of the world ;_;

I have a lot of internet friends, most of them which I met on here. I speak to them every day and honestly would trust them with my life. They've always been there for me and have honestly treated me better than my irl ones. Sometimes I think about what my life would be like without them. It's crazy to think about where I would be now if I decided not to join this forum on that summer day 2 years ago. I love you guys.

i had a lot of friends on a website that shut down a while ago. bc it shut down it kind of caused us all to drift apart. even tho we all exchanged social media we only send memes once in a while. but a couple months ago i got discord and ive been trying to make friends on a lot of different servers. i hope i make more friends on tbt when new horizons comes out bc i had friends here when new leaf came out but we drifted apart sadly ://

I have a few online friends that I talk to but none that I'm really close with. Would be nice if I could have some more to be honest. Some people add me on discord when they play with me on Switch because I have my discord tag as my name and then I'll talk to them for a day or two but then they always just stop replying and basically ghost me like they suddenly decided they don't want to be friend or something. Kind of disappointing because I try to make friends and this keeps happening over and over.

I have quite a few online friends, most of which i've never met apart from one. We met by chance this year at comicon, since we were both gonna be there on the same day. Needless to say, the meeting part felt incredibly awkward, and I was very awkward about it but for some reason he's still friends with me so. I was in an online relationship for a while with somebody I also met off of amino.

We dated for about 9 months. He lives in the same country as me, but we just never had the time or money to meet up with eachother even though we really wanted to. In the end, it didn't work out but recently we reconnected and decided to try again. Spoilers, it also didn't work out. We still talk/keep in touch though, and I consider him as one of the most important people in my life, even though we don't talk all that much.

I have another online friend that lives in another country that i've been friends with for 2 years coming up to three. I truly consider him one of my bestfriends, and a platonic soulmate in a way because we just get eachother. We have plans to meet up and drink lemonade together.

I used to have so many friends online when I was younger. I had a friend from Puerto Rico and we used to talk every day. Now that I'm older I find it hard to even make friends let alone keep them - especially on the net. I'm the same in real life. Too much social interaction drains me so I end up drifting from any friends I make.

i was mainly on a website that shut down in april. i got off of it in august, but practically all of my friends were from there. i've met a couple of them in real life. everyone turned on eachother at some point, so i don't speak to most of them anymore. all of my e-relationships were dumpster fires. but other than that, i do have a couple of friends from roblox of all places.

I'm not good at all when it comes to making friends whether it is online or real life. So no I don't have anyone. It's pretty much just me. There are people who I've added on here but I don't think they think of me in that way. Also I've never been in a relationship online or irl.

Years ago, I had a really good online friend. We met in a chat room (one of the very few times I ever attempted one of those things) and stayed friends for probably a decade or more. He lived on the other side of the country from me, so we never met in person, but we emailed and instant messaged each other daily. Eventually, he moved onto social media and I've never been into that sort of thing so the friendship just kind of faded away. I still wondering how he's doing every now and then, though.
