Do you have any interesting rooms in your homes?

So, besides having a living room, bedroom, kitchen, etc what other creative rooms have you all came up with?
What gave you ideas, did you have any inspiration? What furniture did you use?


My room on the right in my Mayor's house is a dressing room.
I used the mannequins, creative qr clothing, and a lot of dressers to create the room.
One side has a little sewing area, and shoes and dresses are around the room. I really liked the idea as I didn't have anything extra for that room.

In my Mayor's house, I wanted to make a "backyard"! Here's some pics:

In my side character's house, I made a study room/library. I also think her bedroom is interesting, because yes it is just a bedroom, but it also is a witchy/enchanting outdoor space too:

My third character's house is a Bakery! I plopped his house right next to Brewster, so when you walk inside you are immediately within a cozy dining area. So it goes (left to right in my town): Bakery, Brewster, Town Hall, and eventually I will also put the Police Station leading right into the Festival Plaza, all in a perfect neat line in the top middle of my map. :3 I consider this the "town center". Anyway, his upper room is a small bedroom. Here is the Bakery:

My fourth character, who I will create once I one day finish landscaping my town, will be a teacher and her home will be used purely as the town's school.

I have two non-regular rooms; my greenhouse/medicinal and birthday rooms.
I decided to do them because I like both concepts; I have already really wanted to do something with the birthday set. I also wanted an excuse to have a few of my favorite bugs displayed; a moth, bee, and snail!

My house in general is pretty normal - I have a living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen etc. But I made my basement into a secret zen garden! It has dark lighting, and I decorated it with the lotus pond, various rocks, and a few zelda themed items I wanted to give it a mysterious vibe, since the rest of the house seems normal, so that way it seems like you've come across a secret area when you enter it~ I don't currently have a photo I can upload, but I'll probably post a photo tomorrow.

Ah I really like that room. For some reason I'm kind of a fan of rooms that look unfinished, yet still fairly habitable.

I meant the aesthetic of it. The walls make it look like an unfinished basement, which I think is a good thing.

Actually, all of my mayor's rooms features historic war events and art combined but the basement stands out the most

I have some semi-interesting rooms.The top is the bike shop in my town Bam!All the mountain bikes,cruiser bikes and scooters have been customized by Cyrus.The middle room is my tacky bachelor's pad and the bottom is a sci-fi/Star Trek themed room.

I also have an alt who is a farmer, so his back room is his crop storage space. I love creating outdoor spaces. I wish we had real backyards in the game.

So many nice amd inspiring houses here ;; I'm still kind of running the typical cosy house idea at the moment, which is a bit basic, but pretty cute.
I intentionally never wanted to put more characters in my town, but this thread really makes me reconsider. I especially love the idea of adding small shops to the town
