Do you have a 3DS XL, 3DS, or 2DS?

I have an XL. I originally bought the normal one, but days after I bought it and not having even owned a game yet the Home Button broke. I returned it and got my money back. Later I looked into the XLs and they were said to have better quality Home, Start, and Select buttons that don't break. I found one on some local classifieds in my favourite colour (Dark Blue) for the price of a regular 3DS, it was brand new and not opened. I still have the system a year later and still works like a charm, buttons and all.

3DS XL. I wish I could have traded mine in for a replacement when I first got it somehow, if they even do that lol... Mine has a really really scratchy circle pad :/ Seriously, when I move this circle pad, you can hear it like scratching as rattling sometimes, and it drives me insane to the point where I don't want to use my 3DS.

Normal 3DS here. I've got one of the Black/Teal ones from from before they brought out the red and black ones[which made me wish I'd waited a bit longer to get a 3DS, as I loved the look of the red one, but didn't feel it was worth buying another one just for a different color].

While I still love my 3DS[and use it a lot], I may look into an XL at some point in the near future, just because I'd like to compare the two and see which I actually like more; as I've always maintained the original 3DS is better due to it fitting better in your pocket.. but then I get told the XL fits in your pocket just fine.

I have a 3DS XL.

I actually felt horribly guilty when I got mine, because it was a present and I didn't actually want one - I was more than happy with my 3DS. I didn't like the look of the console at all. But my mother had already opened the box to made sure it worked, so instead of selling it off straightaway I figured I'd at least give it a go. Popped the AC:NL cartridge in, and after ten minutes I was completely in love with it. Those larger screens are so worth it. ♡

3DS XL here. I got it because I wanted a bigger screen. And while I absolutely love the big screen and would never get a regular 3DS again, I'm not too happy with its weight. For me, it's too heavy play for longer periods of time (sitting down, that is) and it's also why I don't take it with me when commuting.

Coming back to this thread, I have ta lot of gripes with the 3DS XL. Again, my circle pad issue I mentioned earlier, which is most likely system specific, and the PPI of the screen. Yuck, the cool graphics of the 3DS games are completely trashed by how pixelly it is. Also, the speakers are a bit weaker than what I would prefer

It seems like everybody has an XL. When I was buying a 3DS all they had was XL's, so I had to look around. To me the XL's look cheaper. Like it's made out of plastic. Plus I like how shiny the 3DS is. I would get one if I found a nice looking one though. What kind of 3DS do you guys have?

Well they're both plastic, and yeah the XL seems more fragile, but it is bigger so I prefer it.
