Do you give your villagers little stories?

I don't know about everyone else but I tend to give my villagers little backstories and I like to kind of pretend who is friends with you and whatnot. For example on my island Moe and Zell are the best of friends they are always hanging out together and I kind of just make up that that's because they are best friends. Moe is the more outgoing one and Zell is more laid back. Jacob is the newbie who seems to be quite shy and doesn't have many friends at the moment. Ozzie is my best friend and he is very messy and a bit weird. I ship him and Bluebear on my island. Bluebear is best friends with Wendy and they often chat about which one of them is the better pop star. However this sometimes leads to arguments. Bluebear is more into cutesy things whereas Wendy lives to be more rambunctious. Olive is very quiet and mostly keeps to herself along with Marina. Marina and Olive are good friends and often read and bake together. Marina is quite shy but also very generous. Rowan is a bit crazy and starts is quite disliked by everyone else. He really wants to be friends with Ozzie but Ozzie gets overwhelmed by Rowan's need to exercise. and Chief is the clueless guy who is also quite shy unless it comes to singing in which he is as confident as can be. He often chats to the rest of the islanders but tries his best to avoid Bluebear and Wendy as he is worried that will try to make him a popstar.
Anyways I'm interested to know if you have kind of made "stories" for your villagers and if so what are they?

Aw this is really cute! On my island, I have been imagining Tangy as a juice bar employee and decorated her frontyard accordingly haha. She's very hardworking as far as I'm concerned because she's always hanging out in her frontyard :p

I keep catching Shep in the female villagers' houses first thing in the morning. They try to play it cool, but I know what's been going on.

It's also no coincidence that I've been asked to return several items of clothing that he's left at their houses, nor that he caught fleas the day after Fauna had them.

He doesn't mess with Astrid though - imagine those joey eyes watching you the whole time.

One day I went to visit Marshal's house and Maple was there too. I know it's standard behaviour for the host to follow the guest around and smile at them, but it was just so cute that I started believing that these two are dating. And I think they might be, because I've seen really cute moments with the two of them!

The other day, Marshal was singing in the plaza and Maple was the only one sitting down to listen to him sing.
Yesterday, Maple sat down at a pond and Marshal was standing next to her singing.

So naturally, I put the two houses next to each other, on an elevated cliff, away from the other villagers. Special treatment.
Also, for the wedding season photos, I always put them together, sitting next to each other. <3
