Do you find Kapp'n to be creepy or charming?

I doubt that male characters get the same commentary, but in my opinion, Kapp'n is walking a fine line between 'whimsical old sailor' and 'weird man who makes unnecessary comments at all females in his general vicinity.'

What do you feel about him? I know he's an innocent character, but I can't be alone in getting weird vibes from him.

Yeah, I didn't like that. He also will remark on a female with three other male characters or three male characters with one female and it just feels disrespectful to me.

I wish he wouldn't, basically, but I'm not all that upset about it.

I have been a huge fan of Kapp'n since the original GameCube version. I really thought he was truly in love with your character and I still swoon over his hunky body every time I see him. He still flirts with you while riding on his boat so i think deep deep down he has a crush on you? I'd like to think so! bahaha! But I do find it odd how he obsessively flirts with you regardless of gender while he has a loving wife and a kappa kid

I dunno, but I'm sure I don't find him either creepy nor charming. He's annoying, for sure. He seems to be irritated to my male character, getting all angry when I changed my mind and not going to the island (called him a "shrimpy little scamp" and made an irritated emote) and he blabbers some more when I try to skip his sea shanties.
