Do you care if a villager is original or not?

I tried to care, but after a while they just completely ruin their homes and wear really ugly clothes anyway, so I don't really care anymore. If they ask me for furniture I'll try do give them something that fits the theme in their home, but otherwise, I don't really fret too much if they get rid of all their original stuff.

catchphrase and clothes are easy to change. i don't go inside their houses often enough to care about furniture, though it can be annoying when it's a total mess. (i'm trying to fix fang's house right now.) so... nope.

Completely. I think the only things that I guess could count for anything were the wall sconces. But she put those up in Re-Tail the day after she arrived and was fine just stomping around her empty house. The only thing I hated about sending her all that new furniture was that she kept putting it facing the wrong way. Her and Apple always did that to me. Apple still does it.

I would rather them not have fish and stuff everywhere, but if their house isn't original, I don't mind.

Nah, I usually send them some new stuff anyways. But it's irritating if their house is a total mess lol.

Lol Apple gave me the same problem. I mean really Apple a dresser facing the wall? Lol every time she would do that.

no i only really care about the villager... not the home or catchphrase. those can be fixed if i really cared but i don't haha. they get messy anyways and the catchphrase i give aren't the best lol

I haven't received any of my dreamies. It would only bother me if their house was all messed up, things like their catchphrase are things you can change by reporting them to Isabelle (I think).

When it comes to what I have in my game, I try to keep villagers I don't care about as original as I can, since someone else might want them, so I don't change their catch phrase or clothes.

If it's a villager I like and want to keep in my game, then I enjoy making them more personalised. I just sent Erik a shirt and I hope he wears it because I think it would make him look cuter, for instance.
