Do villagers give you hints as to what they want around their house?

This happened to me last night, when I was chatting with Beau.

. I mean, it could just be random dialogue but what if it isn't?

I ignore basically everything they say, as it's always a comment on my clothes.

I've had a few dialogues from a few of my villagers, but I don't think it means anything.

LOL yeah, they talk to me about my clothes a lot too. And if it's isn't about my clothes, it's about something I did the other day (burying bells, making cliffs, etc)

Oh okay, good to know. It's just that's the first time a villager made a reference as to what they want around their house and it kinda threw me off a bit.

No. I mean, you can take what they say and decorate accordingly, but do I recommend it no since the dialogue is limited. They don’t seem to be programmed to have preferences of what the outside looks like. They will look at stuff you put out and comment on it, but again, take what they say like a grain of salt.

Okay, yeah I might have been giving it a bit too much credit. The dialogue is pretty limited.

At one point, I was considering decorating outside their house with items of the color that they like, but I am going to scrap the idea since the idea doesn’t appeal to me anymore (so far I have planted blue flowers outside of punchy’s house since he likes blue) and there is other things I’d rather use the space for.

Hmm, that's an interesting way to decorate. I usually just craft some random furniture, throw a different color on them, and throw them outside one of my villagers houses. Now I'm actually putting some thought into how I decorate.

Unless its a villager telling me the Roost is returning, I could truly care less! lmao, as you can tell I'm overhyped for a Roost return...
But honestly, I do not think that these types of dialogues really mean anything or actually go anywhere for that matter.

I would be pretty surprised if it wasn't in the autumn update this September/October. Autumn and coffee just go together really well.

Yeah, the Roost needs to come back. I'm a coffee addict in real life so my in game character needs to have it as well. XD

I think it can be fun to take it literal, even if it's just random. It makes it seem a little more real and interactive.
Once I put down a cushion and Lucky pretty much immidiately sat on it. When I talked to him, he told me that he wanted something like that for himself so I picked it up and placed it right next to his home. I like to think that that made him happy

I have my hopes for veggies and the roost returning before Dec.
