Do campground items count towards catalog badge?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently working on getting the golden catalogue badge. Ever since the update, lots of new items have been added to the game, so my question is: in order to receive the golden badge, do I now need to get most of the new items as well?

My guess is that you don't need more items than you did before, and the new items actually make it easier to get the badge since they give you more options to get the X number of items you need for the badge. Most of the new features in the update are designed to make the game "easier", not harder.

^^^ I agree with this!! I got the gold catalogue badge shortly after they released all the new items and I catalogued a bunch, so I think even though it says 80% of catalogue or whatever the game data just looks for, for example, 1000 items catalogued.
