Do campers ever camp twice?

One time I had Chrissy in my campsite and I wanted to get her to move in but it was night when I checked so I decided to time travel to give myself more time to convince her to move in. But I time traveled to 1:00 A.M. because I forgot the the in-game day changes at 6:00 A.M. so it was like I went to a different day and I lost Chrissy.

Now her sister Francine is camping and I want both of the sisters to be in my village. Do I have any chance of getting Chrissy back?

Also, Al just moved in today, he's in boxes. (I don't want to keep him.)

In my village I have:
1. Diana (keeping)
2. Rosie (keeping)
3. Whitney (keeping)
4. Jay
5. Knox
6. Muffy
7. Hippeux
8. Al
9. Diva
10. Me
11. Another human

Is my village too full for Francine to move in?

The maximum amount of villagers is 10. You currently have nine, so you can have Francine move in. Make sure you get her to agree to move in, though.

Villagers can show up in the campsite more than once, but the odds of seeing Chrissy again are very low, since there are 300+ different villagers in the game. You'd be better off checking out the Villager Trading Plaza to find someone who has Chrissy.

You can have 10 villagers and 4 human characters total. If you only have 9 villagers, you should have room for Francine. Also, if you don't have room for a villager, they will eventually be in your campsite again (Lolly came to my campsite twice when my town was full which was super disappointing). Honestly it's much easier to go to the Villager Trading Plaza here on the forum and buy Chrissy from someone. That's what I did for 8 out of my 10 dreamies :3

They do show up twice and it's a bit annoying because I Camp Reset for villagers I want. I had the Elvis-looking Koala camp more than 3 times.
