Hi everyone!
I've been reading comics on Webtoon for a few years now and got curious if anyone on this forum is also using the website/app since it's been getting more popular!
If so, do you have any recommendations? What are you reading right now? Are there any you absolutely hate?
If not, have you seen any ads for Webtoon? Have you even heard of it? Do you think you'll check any out?

Also, please put a warning if mentioning any spoilers or big plot points and/or comics with adult content!

---

I'll start!
I am currently reading Space Boy, I Love Yoo, True Beauty, UnOrdinary, Siren's Lament, Yumi's Cells, Cupid's Arrows, Waffles & Pancakes, Cursed Princess Club, The Wolfman of Wulvershire (I don't recommend for younger audiences), and a bunch more!

I use the app! I read a ton of the more popular comics that you also appear to already be reading and a few that you don't read as well. I would recommend both "Luff" and "Castle Swimmer" both are pretty PG or Teen, not too mature but not like children's comics. Both are mostly light hearted and have some good humor, I would say "Luff" has more serious or adult themes but nothing heavy. Both feature some character diversity from all aspects of life and they are not solely romance, although they do feature some romantic themes. I recommend them since some of the comics you read seem to have that about them! :)

Ooh thank you! I actually had subscribed to Luff since I was interested in it, I'll definitely check those two out then c:
Do you have a current favorite out of the ones you're currently reading?
I'm really enjoying what's happening in Yumi's Cells right now!

I'd have to say Yumi's Cells or Unordinary because they are both reaching some serious climaxes in the story and I am starting to really sit on the edge of my virtual seat!! Yumi's Cells is probably my all time favorite though. Always seem to save it for last because even when an episode ends on a bad note, the comic is generally uplifting and so good. I like to save it for after I read the more dramatic ones or the ones that make me cry, like Watermelon. Watermelon is a tear jerker for sure! Beautiful art and well written though! Watermelon is a good comic for animal crossing fans in my opinion, because it has human/animal characters, but wow it has some very sad and scary themes in it at times! I keep going back to it though! I digress. Yumi's Cells is still probably my fave!

I usually pop in to check out comics. I can't remember all what I was reading, but I'm following Bluechair, read a lot of Merryweathery's stuff, and finished Smile Brush.

I really like seeing what's going on in the characters' heads and the author's take on the things we can relate to!
I feel the same way about Unordinary! I've been forcing my bf to start it so I can talk to him about it haha
I've never heard of Watermelon, man I'm excited to try all of these out!

Merryweathery is great! I still need to catch up on most of his though. I follow Bluechair on instagram but haven't touched the webtoon for some reason lol
Do you have a favorite of Merryweathery's stuff? I really like Winter Moon it's fun

Those are good ones! Idk the name of his stuff on Webtoon but Adam Ellis' comics are pretty funny too!

I seriously adore Lore Olympus. Obviously Greek-mythology based with a focus on the story of Hades/Persephone. Amazing artwork and story, IMO! Edit: definitely deals with adult/triggering themes but there are always heavy disclaimers before every chapter. No NSFW art or anything like that.

It's kind of a slice of life where this doctor and his assistant cure really weird diseases.

Nice! Thank youuu

I don’t read much (probably going to get into more after finals are over) but I’m currently reading True Beauty & Yumi’s Cells :’) I’m not caught up on Yumi’s Cells yet but ugh that webtoon can have my whole heart. I almost gave up on reading it because the plot was frustrating at times but I’m glad I pushed through!! The author really has a way with writing

Oh, yeah I agree. I got frustrated too but mostly because it didn't go my way rather than anything else, tbh!
I hope you catch up, it's so fun

A few years ago I was reading a few like Unordinary, I Love Yoo, Cheese in the trap and a few more I cant remember. Not sure why I fell off it.
