DLC villagers to become amiibo cards?

Do you think the dlc villagers will eventually be sold as amiibo cards?

I'm upset I've missed the DLC villager for april.

I don't know about that but I think that there is a huge chance that they will be in the next main animal crossing game. But considering that fact that keep repeating the same villagers could mean that they are saving the rumored DLC villagers for possible Amibo Cards.

I think they'll carry on repeating DLC until a new game is released...
I can't see them releasing any more amiibo cards, Animal Crossing related anyway.
