Did you make your town tune from scratch?

I usually use ones I find online but today I decided to try and make my own tune from song I liked. It proved to be a lot more difficult than I imagined. I didn't even know the notes so I had to figure that out, but I couldn't get it to sound just right so I gave up halfway through. I think I'm just going to stick to tunes I find online, haha.

Have you made your own town tune? If so, is it from a specific song or is it an original piece?

I didn't make mine, it's from the nightmare before christmas. I made one once, but I never saved it.

I made all three of mine (Red River Valley, As the World Falls Down, and House of the Rising Sun), but I used sheet music as a guide for each one. I'm not that great at composing by ear!

Yeah, mine is the ACNL theme that plays during the opening credits. I previously used other video game themes but I really like keeping to the AC music. I always make them myself because I find the ones online aren't always very accurate.

Haha i made up a random tune once a long time ago but i never liked it. I usually use ones i find online. Like now i have the game of thrones theme as my tune and the stark wolf as my flag d:

Here's the thing: I tried to create an original tune, but it came out really bad, and then I couldn't switch back to the default tune, so my current town tune is basically just me trying to re-create my original town tune to the best of my abilities. So it's a little different and original, but not. really.

I find all my town tunes online. I've tried to make my own in the past & they didn't turn out too well.

Nope, I always use town tunes that I find online as i'm absolutely terrible at music and have no sense of notes or any background knowledge on it so if I were to make one based on something else no doubt it'd probably be very out of tune and sound nothing like the sound i'm mimicking haha. Although I did make my own town flag, which I feel pretty proud of.

Yes, I made my town tune from scatch. I don't know why, I'm just not a fan of town tunes based of video games or theme songs. I like random town tunes that are made by randomly moving around the notes.
