hi guys i have like 6.8 mil bells in my abd and i really want to finish my loan but it feels like a waste of money cuz of no real upgrade..
did u guys pay it even though it dosent give u anything beside free house redesign?

I wouldn't do it if it was like 1/3th of all my bells. I would pay it if I still had 10m afterwards, but it really doesn't matter too much since there's not a lot to buy anyway. More than 3 million spare should be enough for a long while.

As it stands right now, it's not really worth it. I could customize my house exterior like a hundred times and I still wouldn't pay more than what the last loan costs. I guess I'll eventually do it, but not right now.

I did it so I could customize my house for free, and so I don't have to worry about paying it off.

I did mine slowly but it's paid off now. It was nice getting the exteriors for free so I could finish off the miles achievement on it lol.

Yes, I personally don't consider that part of the game complete if I don't. Plus it's more realistic lol. I only did it once I had 10 million + and had all of my buildings moved to their spots.

nope ;; the only reason i've been upgrading my house is for the increased storage. decorating and completing my island is my main priority right now, and i'm not gonna finish that for a loooong time so i doubt my house will be my focus for a while. if i had more bells, maybe, but i've been too busy to get more IGB

I paid it off and I didn’t have 10mil+ left over or anything like that. I have enough to move buildings or houses or build bridges and such so I don’t mind. Honestly, I can see why people wouldn’t do it but I like not having to worry about it ever again. Any bells I have from now on can be used for anything BUT my house loan lol. To each their own

But admittedly I still would have paid it even if I’d known I’d get such a booby prize, I can’t stand having debts over my head, even fictional ones.

Would have been nice if it unlocked something worthwhile.

I guess unlimited free exterior updates are nice...but I don't plan on changing my house every week just for the heck of it. Would have been much nicer if it was unlimited free bridges/inclines/moving buildings, etc.
