Did I remember the trailer wrong? Fruit Topic

I thought I saw somewhere that a Banana tree was in the trailer.

I was hoping to find a list of fruits available to get in NH but all I can find online are coconuts cherries peaches apples oranges and pears. idk I thought that perhaps we would find more fruit on those nook miles islands over time.

(also hoping that maybe berry bushes would be introduced)

I definitely don't recall seeing bananas. But yes, the only fruit are Apple, Pear, Orange, Cherry, Peach and Coconut.

Considering all of the fruit trees that were in New Leaf, I'd be a little surprised if in the future, there wasn't more fruit eventually available.

Is it me or is it weird that theres no bananas on a tropical deserted island??

I haven't seen bananas yet either, I really want them for my beach.
