unfortunately i can only do it for the villager directly

i can time travel to keep her in boxes though

time travelling to 7 am today would keep her in boxes i think (any confirmation of this would be appreciated

Yes, I believe the new day starts at 6am. I usually just do 12pm of that same day to keep them in boxes
