I think it would be interesting to see what people do for their daily routine. Right when you leave the house in Animal crossing what do you do? I am interested to learn from people and see what exactly they do to keep their town looking the best and tips on how to lay out their town. Creativity hopefully will show in this post so it will be awesome to see.

For anyone who wants to be friends and explore towns you can find Louie in the town DeKalb at 4957-4434-7839

ok I must be honest here...
to answer your question it's time travel XD
the game became more fun ever since :P
but I still feel guilty about it so I think I'm going to stop once I get all my dreamies ;)

Time travel huh? Well thats fine, but explain what you do. What do you do to maximize your playing experience.

I spend most of my ac days landscaping. So I usually go, eat a fruit, talk to my villagers to see if they want something for their houses, complete tasks (I'm trying to furnish their houses, so no fish/bug tasks, sometimes will check items of delivery taks), then search for fossils, get them assessed by Blathers, check out my museum exhibits (I forgot how fun they are and now make a point to visit every once in a while), go on the stores, buy saplings/bush starts, sell stuff to Reese and finally start landscaping.

I take breaks every once in a while to talk to villagers, go to dream addresses, stuff like that. It's pretty boring but it makes me happy~

First I check the lucky phone and put on the item.
Than I walk around town and wait for my first ping. If it's a mover than I can just relax and have some fun with the villagers.
Right now I'm working on growing more orange roses for Player 3 house.
Also have two museum rooms that need to be decorated. Ed asked where the little boys room was at Retail.
So I'm putting a Spa/Massage/Bathroom in one room. The other is going to be a Perfect Fruit Stand and Plant Room.
My kitchen just got completed. I was finally able to use the kitchen island I had in storage.

Lately I've been sitting on a bench when a villager is close. I usually find them sitting on the bench close to the end of game play.
It's the best way to end the game. Sitting and watching the sunset and looking at the flowers.

I like to goofy around with the villagers and use the emotions. Use the showmanship a lot and do the catwalk down the pathway until I find the next villager that will play.

Yeah there is something about that is refreshing. I am trying to add everyone that posts here so hopefully you can add me back. See each others towns.

I am not sure I know what you were talking about with the phone, could you elaborate?

They were probably talking about the lovely phone you can get from Redd at the fireworks show. It tells you your lucky item like Katrina :)

What makes this game more fun for me is that I try to set a theme for my town and work up to what would look as close as I could to the theme... like setting ground patterns, getting dreamies, pwp's, gardening and SOOOOO much more. just keeps me entertained

A day in the life of Mayor Bee!

I leave the house, varying which direction I go (up towards my train station or down towards the beach paths) depending on who I'm most anxious to check on, I'm a time traveler so my first objective is to find the mover! Once my fears of losing one of my favorites has been allayed it's a quick run to the campsite! I harass whomever is visiting for a short time and then I break out the watering can (endless watering..), while running around watering (thank jeebs for the gold watering can) I collect fruit/new hybrids/fossils/etc and take any requests for pwps/fruit/etc from villagers :D Next its on to selling and buying! First reese, than nooks (the outside of my mayors house is in a constant shift.. /sigh/) and then to get bushes/saplings/fertilizer from leif. Than museum and then back to town for landscaping and general tom foolery. There is always something to be worked on which translates to me procrastinating (on new leaf no less...) and just running around doing nothing productive most of the time.

Also throw in some dreams (I review lots of addresses!), the occasional fishing trip, trips to the island for beetle farming/sharks, anndddddd thats about it! :D Sounds boring but I TT constantly.. so there is always a new day to accomplish when I get bored of "today". You'd think at 23 I'd have better things to do.. but nope! Adulthood can suck it.

Yeah I think that I wasn't to create a forest and outdoors theme. I am like that in real life so I figured it transferred over well. Cabin interior, lots of trees outside like a forest. So I see what you mean by that.

Don't worry I'm 20 and still love this game

In my second town, it's pretty straightforward
So far...
1. Load up Mayor, go dig up the 4 fossils, hit the fake rock for the gem to pop out, and walk around the town to see if anyone wants to move out
2. Go to the Museum and assess them, go to T&T Emporium to buy the bush starts
3. Go back to town and sell the fossils and anything else to Reese. Then wait for a villager to show up and push them to a gem to sell (7,999 Bells plus they don't display them in their house! mwahahaha...), then put the new gem I got up there
4. Put my Bells in a letter, and chuck away anything that a villager may buy from me (furniture, clothes, bugs, fish, etc...), then fill up my pockets with flowers
5. Jump into the sea and swim to an edge
6. Wait five minutes, come back onto land and walk in front of villagers to see if one of them suggests a PWP
7. If not, rinse and repeat. If yes, Save and Quit
8. Then go onto my second or third account
9. Buy an accessory item, tree sapling and fertilizer (trying to get mannequin, golden axe and golden shovel)
10. Sell accessory, and keep the sapling and fertilizer in the locker
11. Save & Quit
12. Go on to Mayor file, TT to the next day
Rinse and repeat .-.

i think landscaping and interior design takes a big junk of my time, but i also spend a lot of time focusing on turning my badges gold and collecting stuff for the museum. :>

I like to organize flowers together and put public works projects to go with it. :D

When my mayor walks out the door she...
1. Waters hybrids
2. Talk to villagers and looks for pings in case someone is thinking of moving (if I get no pings I keep talking to my villagers til they tell me who is moving or a rumor) OR go to the PWP celebration thingy
3. Dig up fossils when I pass by one
4. Go to main street to buy bushes/saplings/fertilizer + furniture
5. Go back to town to sell stuff/store the stuff I bought
6. Landscape town for the rest of the day LOL

I don't have a daily routine, especially since I started trading TBT for in-game bells. Before that, I tried to spend some time every day earning bells but not when I had a very limited amount of time to play or didn't feel like it.

Usually, I go around my town to talk to my villagers and check up on things. They always give me something to do, so I do that. I visit the shops to check if there are any items in there that I don't have yet or that I want. Sometimes I'll dig up a bunch of fossils at once and take them to Blathers. If there are any bugs or fish I haven't caught yet, I'll try to catch them. There are days when I go to the island for items or just to play the games and collect medals.

I've been working on decorating my town, so a lot of what I've been doing is about that. I've been laying down paths, decorating with flowers, collecting bushes, finding furniture for my houses, getting furniture and clothing for my villagers, and the like.

I also enjoy doing daily tasks, like taking my characters (especially my side characters) to Club LOL with a snack for Shrunk and working for Brewster.

Something that I also like is making the most out of special events and preparing for them, along with taking advantage of the weekly NPCs that show up in my town.

Visiting dream addresses is fun when you're bored and you can go on adventures in horror towns, just look at pretty towns, or meet villagers you haven't seen in the game yet.

I always have the same routine.
1. Follow a specific path around the town hitting every rock until I find the money rock.
2. Look around for the ore rock.
3. Sell the ore at re-tail.
4. Go to Main Street
5. Update my dream town (when I'm connected to the internet.
6. Check out Nook's Homes for some house exterior options.
7. Look for some furniture, wallpaper and flooring at T&T Emporium
8. Look at the latest clothing and accessories at the Able Sisters.

Here is Mayor Patches' routine:
1. Check the mail
2. Grab tools from inside
3. Talk to villagers, make sure no one is moving away, and do favours for them
4. Find the ore rock and sell the ore at retail, along with any gifts I get from mail/villagers
5. Water flowers
6. Talk to Best Friends if they are online and maybe visit them
7. Go shopping on Main Street
8. Dream of a random town to work towards my badge
9. Check with Isabelle my Citizen Satisfaction
10. Check the Police Station for lost items
11. Check the Instrument Shelter for the Weather Report
12. Get my fortune told by Katrina or use my Lovely Phone if its after hours
13. If its November, collect Mushrooms, December, collect Snowflakes, etc.....
14. Go fishing if I feel like it.

My daily routine is first either check the shops then plant it if I find a blue Hyd. Bush or cedar sapling then I maybe go to Gracie's then I chdck my villagers for a ping then I talk to them then clean up my town and think about further developments, even though my towns kinda already filled with pwp and paths lol

I really enjoyed reading all of these, thank you everyone! Message me if anyone wants to add me. I'd love to visit your towns and see the progress! Let me know and I'll add y'all right away!
