Designs templates/tools

I'm looking for good and easy to use online tools to help make good designs for clothes and such. Is there any website that has grid templates (like where each specific color goes where in what box)? I can't seem to find any thing of that sort.

I'm also looking for a good sprite resource website with the same grid thingies so they can be easily copied other places.

I do have a book that has a ton of dress/shirt designs all laid out on the little pixel bits used in Able sisters.

This has been pretty useful for me. It converts images to patterns, but do keep in mind that the larger the image, the more pixelated it will look. It's a great tool for town flags, but you could also use it to make patterns for clothing.
