I am waiting for someone to pick up Samson so I can progress past his move-out date. So I have an idea: I could come talk to Deli (so you can continue in the game as you please), and I will play the game as quickly as I can after this person comes for Samson, and when Octavian's ready to move out, I can send you a message and you can pick him up.
I totally understand if you don't want to just take my word for it that I'll send you an octopus in the future. Just thought I'd offer, since it seems easier than trying to somehow TT this octopus out in one day when I still haven't heard back from my Samson offer, and I really don't want to stand them up.

No I totally trust you, and we can do that. Only I am just hoping that someone new doesn't choose to move in right when he leaves. So it would need to be quick, so when do you think (approx) Octavian would be ready?
I wish this person would get back to me about Samson. :/ As soon as I can get him out of here, I will start skipping ahead to try and get Octavian to disappear. (And since I only TT one day at a time, I always know in advance about moving villagers.) So I guess even if someone did move in for you, you would still know a few in-game days before Octavian was moving, which would give you time to clear space. I'd be happy to hold him for you the way I'm holding Samson.

I am on class at the moment but in the evening I should be free. It is 10:07 am right now. I will keep deli in my town until you come talk to him. Does around 6:30 Pm work for you? Sorry so late

Haha. Nope, I'm totally willing to give you Octavian whenever he moves out. I'm fond of him, but he isn't one of my favorite villagers, so I don't mind letting him go to someone who would enjoy him more. I would have let him move away eventually.
Thanks so much! I have been looking for him and Kiki especially, she looks like my kitty who recently disappeared. So I am glad I have found someone who is willing to trade!
