Decorating Genji's house

I like for my villagers to keep some of their original furniture in their house sometimes. I goofed and gave Genji an astro table and he got rid of his neat looking tatami bed that looked nice behind a screen. Of course there are a couple things on the table now. If I do send him the bed, he will probably replace the screen or shrine looking thing i don't know the name of. Does that sound right?

He does have that pond I could replace with a large bed, but I can't think of a large bed that would look good with his interior.

I found a pic of his layout, more or less. Instead of the coconut, he had a tea table with a cicada, and instead of the biwa lute, I think he came with a misty tee. Of course most of the small stuff has been replaced by shirts.

Can you just keep sending him all of his old items until he replaces everything, lol?

He does still have the screen and other 1x2 thing in the corner, plus I thought he would have to lose the stuff on the table before he replaces that with a bed.

If you have his Welcome Amiibo card and another villagers, you can reset his house.

Step 0: Make sure you have 10 villagers

Step 1: Scan an Amiibo Card and choose him to move out

Step 2: Once the 1st Amiibo moves in, wait a week.

Step 3: Go back to wisp and choose Genji to move in, replacing the 1st Amiibo

Step 4: Profit. Genji is now reset and so is his house.


If you're not able to do that, then try and locate a Cabana bed. That would probably look nice.
