So, I've got nearly all of my dream villagers and while I love them all very much... I'm also so satisfied when I get to go hunting for new ones! And I am especially happy when I get to help someone else get a villager.

I currently have; Lolly, Bob, Merengue, Raymond, Melba, Daisy, Zucker, Wolfgang, Renee, and Judy.

I am thinking of letting some go and then working to get them back or get new ones. But I'm worried that I won't get them back or that I'll regret it!

I'm deciding on Melba, Judy, maybe Zucker, and either Lolly or Merengue. Which do you guys suggest I replace them with if I do? And which should I let go first?

i'm a mix of the last two poll options.. i'd say let either melba or zucker go to test it out, and if you don't like it, you can always get them back! i've noticed they go for a bit cheaper than the others so they'd be easier to get back.

Yeah! I thought so too! Though I'm also scared no one will sell Melba xD I am a bit tired of the normal personalities though... but yeah! Might try with Melba first. Or Zucker but he's such an old dreamy that I feel like I'm a traitor to him T3T

ohhh i don't have specific suggestions on who to get adopted out first, maybe from the personality you have the most of? o: that's how i plan to do it (i have like 3 lazy villagers rn who i love dearly and at least one of them has to go eventually LOL) - just make sure things are relatively balanced.

i only saw this recently!! it was when i adopted dobie from someone. on his listing he said something like he really enjoyed hanging with dobie on his island but he wanted to meet new villagers now so he was happy to let him find a new home and that really changed my mindset about villager keeping. the game's been much more enjoyable now that i'm not so stringent about it.

of course, there are some i'd love to have around longer than others, but i think once i get their picture, i'd be happy to let them go to other islands and explore (so to speak!)

That's honestly such a good mindset and one I might try adopting myself. I have some that are gonna stay forever (dun dun dun!!!) But many of the others I've been keeping because I'm scared of losing them and losing the effort I put into finding them....

I'm hosting a giveaway currently and might even let go of Merengue for it since she's sorta well loved..

But first, getting all their pictures!

Just Dom, currently! And yeah, he seems to be an easy get! Also, super good suggestions! I have Lucky as an amiibo even! I held onto Judy because I think she's a bit scary herself xD so they'd fit!

I'd say try to get amiibo cards for some of your faves. That way, you can let them move without worry and call them back when you miss them.

Im not too familiar with buying amiibo cards, bud from what I hear, people get them from ebay. They can get a bit pricey, though.

I voted to release certain ones since that’s what I do. I have gotten two photos, Aurora and Judy. Aurora is my favorite villager so even though I got her photo, I am keeping her on my island. I liked Judy but once I got her photo I let her go because there were other snooty villagers I wanted. I would suggest letting some villagers go if there are others you are interested in trying. It’s fun meeting new animals! Of course I have a lot of amiibo cards to fall back on though.

It's so good!! She always looks a bit grumpy when she gets shocked in a conversation. Turns out that snooty is also a dope personality because she's so warm and loving when you talk to her a bit more...

I bought mine when they first came out in stores here! Sadly not many because I never knew the amiibo drought that would follow it xD You need a nfc reader though right? I was gonna look on etsy for cheaper custom amiibo potentially especially when they're cute

That's fair! I'm trying to branch away from my taste currently though because I wanna switch it up! But you've got a super cute line-up! Had to check who Murphy was

I feel like everyone is super nice in this game from the start though which kinda feels a bit boring bc you don't really have to work for their affection ; u ;
