December fishing tourney results?

Hey!

Just wanted to know how everyone else faired with the tourney today. I pretty much gave up, and got a few items I needed, but also got a ton of doubles (3 extra Sea Anemone Beds?! >:U). I pretty much gave up 'cause I doubt I'd top my whale shark.

What'd you guys all get so far?

Pro-tip: The island helped score me a lot of fish items : D Go ribbon eels!

I won with a 41.74 inch sea bass.
Chief came second with a 37.78 inch sea bass.
Rodney came third with a 34.62 inch sea bass.

It might as well have been the sea bass-only fishing tourney.

Awesome! I'm still waiting for my results, but I'm pretty positive I got first too. I also started by catching a ton of sea bass of varying sizes. Biggest I caught was 45.00 : D

I won with a 39.55inch Seabass. ^.^

Second was Gabi with a 39.10inch Seabass.
Third was Blanche with an 18inch Black Bass.(bahaha)

I was in first with a sea bass *don't remember the sizes on any of the fish*, Rocket was in second with a sea bass of her own, and then Quillson was in third, but I don't remember what his fish was now. Didn't do a lot of fishing, so I only got two fish items this time around. Gotta wait for the next fishing tourney and try again. This time around I got a Jellyfish light, I think it was, and a Red Snapper Chair.

I won with a whale shark. Bertha came in second with a sea bass that was around 40 inches. Camofrog got third but I don't remember what exactly he caught but I'm assuming it was a sea bass.

I can never be bothered to take part anymore after I already got the gold, silver and bronze trophies. I got the fish set as part of a trade so didn't need to take part for those either. Sigh.

I won with a sea bass, at least 40-45 inches. The two others were Merengue and Lucha, second and third respectively. I wiped the floor with them. XD

I woke up late and didn't do it. I hate the fishing tourney anyway, when they ask for specific stuff it drives me nuts. However I did wake up at 7pm even if I did want to participate. I think they wanted a pond smelt… Like, what the hell…

However my baby Molly came first, my husbando Kid Cat came second, and Lopez third. Also Freckles stood by me to watch her BFFL Molly win the trophy, as well as Papi and Victoria attending together to watch <3

I got a few nice items. Won with a random Oarfish catch. Was super overkill though, Del and Cube both caught Pond Smelt, less than 4 cm long....

I won with a Sea Bass.
My other villagers were pretty bad.

I didn't participate in the Fishing Tourney.

Despite that I do give Chip a stringfish just to see his reaction towards it. I didn't save it though because the stringfish is too precious to be wasted on the Fishing Tourney(although I do have like 3 more stringfish in my rare-stuff exhibition room, and donated 1).

I swept the competition with three sea bass, the smallest of which was a 43.7 incher.

I did it mainly because I needed a bronze trophy, which I had won previously but damn if I know where it's gotten off to...

I caught a bunch of sea bass and started giving them to him but realized I was only going to get stuff off the first list again (which is all I've ever gotten, argh) so I stopped bothering and went and sold everything else at Retail. Didn't even get to my stockpiled sharks.

Somehow I still won. Missed the ceremony though so I don't know what the others caught. Oh well, toss the trophy on the pile I guess.

Won with a 40-something inc (surprise) sea bass I had caught on the island! The other winners were Rodney and Chow, but I can't remember what they had got either.

I caught a Tuna fish.... Don't remember the size, but that was the only fish I caught and won first place. Didn't really feel like trying to collect any items.

I won with a large shark, although I can't remember the exact size. Flo came in second, and Derwin in third.
A friend over via wifi was able to take part in watching the ceremony, which I thought was pretty cool.
I really wanted another jellyfish light, but no luck. I really love those jellyfish, would coat every inch of wall with them if I had enough.

I got first place, but was too lazy to try to get much of the fishing items so I only got a crab clock.
