dear people who used the fourth tier glitch...

before the update, there were a couple of ways that you could get up there. you could give the game serious frame drops, or have a friend hit you with a shovel. i’m guessing someone on this forum used a glitch to get up there, terraform, decorate, whatever.

what repercussions did you get? is that fourth tier a completely inaccessible area, that’s totally decked out?

did anyone change the theme of their island and was forced to reset because of this?

those who didn’t change their theme, do you regret it?

my condolences for those who put their house up there. rip.

I'm guessing you could use the rescue service to get off the cliff, or at least you'd be able to save and then reload the game. But IDK if the items would be stuck up there... unless there is a new way to get up there, like someone mentioned? I'm curious to hear if there is!
...Not that I'd risk it, but it'd be interesting to read about.

I don't think there's any rule on this site banning discussion of glitches in general. Duping glitches and hacking are no-no's because they can be exploited for trading, but the fourth tier glitch only affects yourself as far as I know. That being said, you should avoid advertising any glitch that you know can be harmful to someone's game, but if it's harmless and doesn't give anyone an unfair advantage, then there shouldn't be any problem with describing it or linking to a video of it.

Yes it's only your town but next time Nintendo could patch it with no fix. I've only watched Twitch streamers.
