Any games that have died or slowed down that you played when they were more active and miss now?

I miss Spore so badly. it's not a bad game (it's really addicting) it's just outdated. I really wish an HD remaster would release but I know that's never going to happen. I mean, you can still play but the fans have mostly moved on and now I have no one to share Sporecasts to ;-;. I started thinking about the stuff I used to do on Spore last night and I actually cried over how dead and gone the game is.

keep that last part a secret.

Ragnarok Online.

I guess there are still people bopping around on official servers... somewhere? But I hate grinding in MMOs so I always opted to play a private server instead. One in particular, I went with that crew for years and still talk to some of them. Lots of screenshots, lots of fond memories. It all kind of fell apart due to some drama I don't even remember + people getting busy. I miss it a lot though. I could probably say the same for Flyff, which was horrible, lol; I just had a lot of fun playing with my friends, and going back now isn't the same at all. Nostalgia is a cruel mistress :P

I liked a jrpg called Suikoden so much when I played my friend's I bought a ps1 for it. I bought all their other games even though they went downhill after #2, they still seemed fun and would have me buying them no matter when console they were on if they were still around and Konami knew what they were doing. They had 2 on the ps1, 4 on the ps2 and one DS game.

Ohhh my gosh, Suikoden! I never got my hands on the second one - I should remember to grab a rom for it sometime. The first one was gold though.

Garry's Mod is pretty dead now.

How is garry's mod even dead? It still has an active 30k players daily. It's one of steam's biggest successful games!

I miss the active days of Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed, and older Animal Crossing Titles like New Leaf and Wild World.

Free Realms. I have a lot of good and bad things to say about it (mostly bad things) but I really miss it overall. It was on that MMO that I met the only real friends I've ever had - and what I mean by real is... the only people that actually treated me like a real person with feelings, despite being separated via computer screen. Even though the majority of the game's playerbase was really toxic, there was still a good handful of nice and caring people that played that game if you knew where to look.

I remember Jack and Daxter being really fun as a kid. Also Teken and MORTAL COMBAAAAAT

The original Spyro for Ps (and ps2) (still got it, but meh play station broke :l)
And rocket knight for Genesis, was a game where if you got hit 1 time you died (like contra, but waaaaaay harder) and had an epic soundtrack in final 3 areas :D

Kid Icarus: Uprising, idek how the online is nowadays but man I had some noice times there!

Zubo. Nobody knew what it was, but man was it fun. I could probably go dig up the cartridge and play it now if I wanted. I never got to beat the final boss because of a glitch around that third pill-boss thing before you... I think shot yourself into space to fight the villain?
