Classic Easter Egg
Good afternoon, peoples. It's a sunny day in Storrs today, and after yesterday's rain all of my flowers were healthy. A day like this makes a good day to straighten things up and update the version of my dream town. I made sure to make an extra effort with my patrol today and found all of my fossils with ease along with a couple of gyroids.

The first friend to run into me today was Chief, and he ran over to tell me he was planning on moving out on the 29th. Sorry Chief, but no. He was happy to stay, so I was glad.

Next, I saw Becky out and about around her house and I decided to talk to her, even though I don't really care for anything she has to say. She asked me if I would help her get signatures for her Ban Creepy Clowns petition, and I agreed just because I too feel that creepy clowns should be banned. Not in a hurry to help her out, but I will try later if the opportunity arises.

After that, I crossed the cobblestone bridge and Felicity ran over. She suggested that we build an Illuminated Heart in Storrs, which I'm not interested in but might be nice for a special event or something. Deirdre was walking up just behind us, and she better have overheard Felicity's suggestion so she might start coming up with some of her own. I made sure to thank her extra loudly, saying that I LOVE getting new suggestions from my villagers, so Deirdre could hear and take a hint. Didn't seem like half a minute had passed while I walked around Lily's house to check for fossils before I walked back around and saw Deirdre and Becky storming away from each other. I swear, Becky is more trouble than she's worth, always starting fights. I may have to talk to Isabelle about this.

Lolly was in her home, so I dropped in to see her. And, go figure, the Kiddie Tee is now sitting on the floor beside her left window. It doesn't contribute anything to her interior, but hopefully she'll finish her painting and replace it with something else.

Wart Jr. was home also, and he asked me to catch a butterfly for his niece. What is it with nieces and butterflies these days? Fortunately that was no difficult task, and he gave me an Iconic Tank in return, which was a new addition to my catalog. Whitney, too, was whittling the afternoon away indoors waiting for a package she had ordered. She complained about the postal system quoting them as saying, "We'll deliver your package at OUR convenience. Please stay put for a week or so." Couldn't be truer, Whitney.

With that, all of my friends had been found. Except Buck, I couldn't figure out where in the world he was today. On my way to the Roost, I decided to stop in the Police Station, since I didn't see anyone in the plaza and wondered if someone might have been wandering around town that I didn't see. He said he heard reports of someone washed up on the beach but, of course, 'inspected' and didn't find anything. I, however, found Gulliver and he told me he was going somewhere with a Manneken Pis and delicious chocolate. I had no idea what the statue was, but I knew delicious chocolate comes from Belgium and sure enough that's where he was going. He had noted that he was rather impressed by the audacity of the young boy in the statue, which was enough to pique my curiosity. So I looked it up and, yes, it is a rather bold (and nude) little boy peeing into a fountain. Please, Gulliver, don't try that.

That aside, I went to do my time at the Roost. Whitney was first again, and I was able to give her her usual.
Becky was second, and she likes her coffee just the same as Whitney. Maybe that has something to do with them both being Snooties?
Gabi came in third, and I was pleased to see that she's a significantly less-creepy white rabbit than Ruby. Maybe I can get her to move in someday. I wish there was a male white rabbit, really, but I think she would do just fine. Anyway, she ordered a Blue Mountain with lots of milk, and that means three sugars also. Happy Gabi was happy.
Kapp'n was last, and there went my perfect sweep. I recalled that he doesn't like sugar in his coffee, and tried a mocha with a regular amount of milk this time. He liked the milk, but not the roast. So that just leaves a Blend roast, which has to be what he prefers.

On the note of town improvement, I did rearrange my breeding hybrids in the field beside Re-Tail and, now, in front of Fang's.

I've always tried to be extra safe with my breeding flowers, planting them around Re-Tail and the pond adjacent, but now that I have multiples of each hybrid I'm not too concerned with anyone putting their house on top of these anymore. Which is good, really, because now the field here looks a lot less sparse.

Just above the pansies is where Fang's house is, and I planted a couple of orange trees around it, one one each side. I'll decide whether or not I want to keep them after they're fully grown. Unfortunately, because I got the oranges from the only other tree in town, I had none to give to Deirdre when she asked for one. My breeding violets are situated between Fang's house and the river, and my lilies and cosmos are to the left, across the path and right above the plaza.

I have a few pink and red carnations also, and they're just south of Re-Tail around the rock east of the plaza. I cannot for the life of me to get them to breed white ones, though. Hopefully someday.

Now, since the addition of the Red Roof makes Lily's house look like a proper castle, I can get started on a few of the rooms I have started/planned. I think I'll expand the upstairs today, which currently contains as much of the Pavé set could fit in the first addition. What is the Pavé room going to be, you ask? Well, you'll just have to stick around until it's all finished. (;

I agree. Clowns are kind of creepy at times. XD

You have so many hybrids! I only have a few pink, orange, and blue ones. How is purple made? And black is two reds put next to each other, right? :o

I'm with Becky on this one - creepy clowns definitely should be banned.

The Mannekin Pis is my least favorite of Gulliver's souvenirs. Why couldn't he send some Belgian chocolate, instead?

I like your hybrid field; all the colors and breeds spread out like that look very pretty. That's also a cute pattern you have down. Would I be correct in guessing that Lily's Red Queen castle is nearby?

Ooh, curious to see how your Pavé room looks. I have it in my main room, right now, but that'll get swapped out for the Ranch series, eventually. I love seeing how people set up the furniture.

Hm...nope. ^^; Those are the tiles I have down in the plaza. I have a different pattern around Lily's. Looking forward to showing that off. d:
