Daily Schedules

When you guys play Animal Crossing, does anyone have a daily schedule you usually stick to? I’d like to know since I’ve always done things as they happen and I know one of my friends who used to have ACNL would always do one thing in the morning, one thing in the afternoon and so on.

I usually go into town after 11 am so everyone is awake (including the uchi villager's who don't come out of their homes until 11 am).

1.) Villager check to see if anyone is going to ping to move.

2.) Sell whatever I am holding to the Retail.

3.) Weed check, landscaping, fossil collection, rock smashing

4.) Errands for my villagers

5.) Head to Main Street and visit all the shops/Deposit funds/Drop off fossils/send a few letters

6.) Free play (sometimes I fish since I absolutely love to do that but mostly just play around with villagers)

7.) Since I have so many towns, I spend a lot of time landscaping various towns while I play. I find it utterly zen and relaxing.

I normally try and get on in the evenings as it’s the only time I’m free. The first thing I do is wonder around town and try and get my basic chores done. Dig up fossils, check and water my flowers, speak to as many villagers as I can etc, sell any fossils or items I have. It normally takes me about 20mins to do all that. If I still want to play after that I decided what I want to do. At the moment, I’m doing a lot of landscaping so I’ll do some of that. If I don’t fancy that, I’ll fish and bug collect.

So yeah I do have a set routine that I do when I first get onto the game, but after my basic stuff is done I just do what I fancy.

It is generally like this:

I usually play in the evening but on weekends around noon or early morning and then throughout the day:

1. Run around looking for fossils to dig up. I'll talk to any villagers I see outside.
2. Assess fossils then check out the shops.
3. Water my flowers and talk to any villagers I missed outside or in their home.
4. Landscape.
5. Go to the island to catch bugs for bells (later at night after 9 pm EST)

Hm, I'm only available to play at night, so here's mine:

1. Run around to see if anyone moved in.
2. Collect fossils.
3. Go to main street and shop for a bit, mainly for nintendo items and furniture.
4. Pull weeds and water plants.
5. Talk to villagers
6. Fish and bug catch.

I'm not doing landscaping just yet because I had to start a new game, so, yeah. xD

- See what I need restocked in my shop, scan accordingly and reorder.
- Check if there's anything if front of the campsite spot, since that's the only place anything may spawn.
- Check bulletin board.
- Check Gracie's shop and upload DA if I like the weather that day.
- Talk to all available villagers at least three times.
- Check for holidays, Redd, and lost items; collect and add to shop.
- Go to next day and repeat.

I'm basically TTing to catch up to current day, only need the gold StreetPass badge left.

My routine goes like this:

- Run back inside and change clothes (I usually have pajamas on when the game opens)
- Check mail
- Hit the beach to check on my hybrid breeding
- Do a quick run around town to hit the money rock and ore rock
- Check with Booker on who might be in town
- Pick up any random flowers that were planted by villagers/spawned unplanned
- Sell extra items at Re-Tail
- Chat with villagers as I pass them around town
- Check clothing in the shop and chat with the Ables
- Buy fertilizer, check the bush starts, buy fortune cookies, check 2nd floor
- Deposit money and mail any letters
- Check bulletin board
- The Roost
- Check in with remaining villagers
- Check with visiting animals and/or Isabelle, if needed
- Plant fertilizer/bushes
- Possible island trip (I'm replanting my island, so I need to check the last tree every few days for a special stump)

After that, I'll maybe do a bit of fishing or bug hunting, go sit on one of my benches, visit a villager who is home, tweak my house a bit, or close the game.

Main Town
1. Get mail and than walk around town waiting for the first ping. During that time I hit the money and fake rock.
2. After the ping I check if they have chores, movers or rumor movers.
3. Buy flowers/trees for my other towns. Check the upstairs store for items my other towns might need. Place an order for my other town.
4. Put other towns items in locker and than check retail for premium items/turnip prices.
5. Complete chores and hang out with the villagers.
6. Drop off items in my other town when the locker gets too full.
Fossils are buried on the beach. The museum is complete and the town has too many flowers.

Casual towns.
1. Dig up fossils and donate to museum. Check the plaza for visitors and do chores for the villagers.
2. Buy everything from the stores for those towns that need an upgrade or mannequins.
3. Check on villagers for pings. Avoid the villager that changed their mind about moving.
4. Go fishing or bug hunting for the month items. Some times I leave the town on the same date for 3 days. Just change the clock to the time I left off. It helped to get the scorpions.

im really into the gardening aspect of the game, so i have a sort of regular route around town that i follow to do my rounds, water all the plants, check on villagers, look for fossils, etc, after which i do any shopping or museum trips i need, and only after all that am i content to do anything else i had in mind haha

here is what my daily schedule/play looks like!

1. check my mail and if nothing is there, do fossil digging, rock smashing, bell rock collecting, weeding too!
2. have my fossils assessed, sell them along side the daily gem. (stray bamboo shoots too!)
3. buy out any items i don't have at the shops, then re-sell them/re-tail them for profit/completion. check my campground for new items i'm hunting for, then grind at the islands for rare items. 3 times for NA + international.
4. i'll usually have refurbished an item over night and collect it so i can start something new!
5. complete any events at my event plaza + any extra characters in my town like saharah or joan!
6. re-plant any misplaced flowers my nice villagers decided to put down.... bless them........
7. complete the diving trick for 1 new pwp each day! which can be tedious but that's normally the last thing i do!

i normally do this routine everyday about three times? because i TT but yeah, that's what i looks like! :>

I usually start playing around 9-10pm, but I have my 3DS set 3 hours behind so it's about 6-7pm in game. Since I just created an alt, I decide who I want to log in first depending on what they need to accomplish. Whoever logs in first gets to sell the ore and stray bamboo shoots for the day. With each character I follow this routine:

1. Check mail.
2. Walk a preset route, digging up stray bamboo shoots, picking up stray flowers, collecting the ore from the ore rock, and talking to villagers/special visitors.
3. Sell everything I've collected at Retail or put it in storage.
4. Check the campground and all the shops on Main Street for items I want/need.
5. Check the museum for any villagers I couldn't find elsewhere.
6. Complete any villager requests that I wasn't able to do immediately.
7. Make another trip to Retail to sell stuff.
8. Go to the beach, check my hybrids, water them and plant fertilizer.
9. Free time to work on landscaping, bug catching, fishing, decorating or whatever else I want.

I usually play for 20 mins or so before work when I collect mail, look for fossils, money rock and ore rock and generally look around my town for new hybrids etc.

Later in the day after work I will go to the shops, chat with villagers.

Late at night I often go bug hunting or do some landscaping.

Get Mail
Run inside and deal with anything in bags including mail
Rub the lamp and summon an amiibo with Wisp to get the 5 Meow coupons and either summon an RV or get an item
Check hybrids on the beach and water and fertilize
Check for fossils and the ore rock
Assess fossils and check out museum 2nd floor shop
Put items to sell in locker until Re-Tail is open
Go to Dream Suite
Shake trees (stop back by the station locker/home as needed to empty pockets)
Mid tree-shaking, stop by RV campsite since it's on the way, make purchases
Check initiatives and complete the not-annoying ones
Talk to villagers and run any errands
Go to the island to look for the Cabana wall or other rare items I need (finally go the mermaid table, I've been looking for months!)
Run some tours if feel like it
Head home
Sell things at Re-Tail
Go shopping on Main Street
Write and send letters to villagers

Rinse and repeat as applicable on alts, adding in stopping by Nook Homes and repaying loans.

My routine isn't always exactly the same, but most of the time it goes something like this!

- Check Mail
- Go looking for fossils/gem rocks/bamboo shoots
- Check my hybrids
- Go to T&T Emporium to buy the fertiliser/saplings (trying to get that golden shovel and axe!!) and anything else I want to buy
- Check Able Sisters for anything i'm interested in there
- Go around and talk to all my villagers/do any favours! I'll do this a bit while doing everything else as well anyways.

There are some other things that I do something (like going to the island, visiting other towns ect) but I don't do those every day!
