Inspired by cutaway gags, a style of writing jokes where a character says something like, "This reminds me of _____", "This is worse than _____", "This is like _____", or something else similar to those types of setups; which then leads to it cutting away to a clip relating to the original statement. These are most frequently just used for flashbacks but can also just be used for other things as well.

Here's an example of how the game is played:

Person A:
"This reminds me of the time when _____!"

Person B:
*Cuts away to a scene where _____*

"This is just like _____."

(Please make sure to keep the setups and cutaway gags in line with TBT's rules and regulations.)

I'll start:

"This is worse than the time when I ran out of ideas for setups of cutaway gags!"

*Cut to Peter Griffin just standing there doing nothing in confusion*
Peter: Am- Am I supposed to do something now?

“Your mom is so stupid that sometimes she forgets how to breathe!”

Gee, Lois, this is worse than the time your mother forgot to breathe!

*cuts to Lois' mom trying to blow a bubble, only to pass out as the bubble wand lands in her face.

"This reminds me of when I accidentally took my cat to work."
