monkey progress

hi everybody! this is a little random but thought i’d share- i crocheted some monkeys. monkeys i made:
these completed monkeys can stand on their own. one is apple themed, the other banana themed <3
Info on both!
Nana (female, banana, light brown monkey, quirky and silly)
Fuji (male, apple, darker brown monkey, quiet and gentle)

I plan to refer to the pattern when making the biker monkey, the mini monkeys (cherry + banana), and the base for the monkeys going forward but, for the clown monkey, fluffy monkey, and big monkey, these are all my own ideas/mods, so i can refer to the pattern but i can plan to take my own artistic direction for that part. 4 the fluffy monkey, i have fluffy brown yarn :^)
4 the big monkey, i have chunky light brown yarn ^_^ (chunky and thicc yarn yay)

i am planning to switch up expressions, similar to parts of the pattern. :3
also, for the cherry monkey. there are 4 monkeys to make in total = 2 minis, 2 regular size. this is b/c i am making a regular sized cherry monkey pair, not included in the pattern, and the mini cherry monkey pair which is already in the pattern.

- cherry monkeys (2 monkeys with cherry hats attached as a group)

- big monkey (w/ chunky yarn) (maybe just 1 for now but u can make another if u like) hehe
