So I might be getting Crackdown tomorrow. I've been playing the demo like crazy... It's so fun to just mess around in that game

:P

Anyone Have it and still play? If you do, is the online Co-Op still alive?

Haha, another game I had but don't anymore.

It's fun, I nearly got all the achievements for it.

My friend has, I hate it.

In other news, I just bought Lost Planet. Its really fun, once you get past the whole thermal thing that is.

I've actually been thinking about getting it myself. My friends reccomended it to me a while ago, they said it was great.

I am baffled. WTH. (lawl, censoring.)

So I go to Gamestop to pick Crackdown up, and as needed, he listed the ESRB content to my mom. Once she heard "Sexual Themes" and "Use of Drugs" she turned it down. Does she even know what that means? I looked it up, and it's just the annoying announcer guy mentioning that the gangs sell drugs and prostitution. It got turned down because he friggin MENTIONS drugs and prostitution. Why does that even matter? It's not like I don't already know what drugs are. xD

they're gonna check "What They Play", and most likely approve once they read about it... So whatever. I'll probably get it tomorrow.

ugh.

Yikes. I'm glad my parents are more lenient... they let me play No More Heroes (which had... quite a few objectionable things) without any problems. Same for RE4.

this is the first time my parents actually denied a game that I was actually going to get... If my parents see the word "sexual" in the ESRB details, they go into "Protect teh branez!!!!!" mode...

My dad really doesn't care about anything other than... "things", and my mom doesn't care about violence/gore, but she doesn't like language =/

the demo is a bit misleading from the ESRB. I've played the demo several times, and have only heard the announcer cuss once, yet the ESRB says "Strong Language"... Apparently, the peds cuss when you try and run them over, but I never noticed.... Of course, there wasn't anything sexual, because the only thing I've read about that isn't just mentioning stuff is a "brief, blurry picture of a scantily clad woman", and the blood and violence was nothing compared to the games I already have...

-_-

That sucks. I get whatever the hell I want.

Anyway, I think it's a fun game, but it's a bit too short.
yeah, I heard the campaign is really short, but I'm the kind of person that likes to just go around free-roam cities and mess around, so it'll last a pretty long time for me. Plus, it's only $17

I felt your pain for 2 weeks, I got it like 2 days ago. Love it, not to make you feel worse. D:

I'm definitely going to get it eventually, but there's gonna be a needless delay so that they can "look" at the game. All it takes is like 2 minutes and they'll find out that it should be rated T. Then they're gonna say "you should wait until you get home from camp", but by then, I'll have probably totally forgotten about it and never get it. ugh.

*Shrugs*

Well then I guess you didn't want it that bad after all.

Crackdown isn't that short the first time around, but once you get Master Agent (max out your stats) it can really get interesting, and there is an achievement for beating the entire game in co-op. It only takes about 45 minutes for two maxed-out agents.

My mom doesn't even know I own GTA IV right now, heh.

I was playing that today in free mode and driving around a semi-truck. I miss the Agency semi from Crackdown, it would blow up any cars it nicked. ;D
