• Good evening, everyone! We have an egg hunt announcement! An additional clue for egg #21 will be posted Monday at 6 PM EDT if it hasn't been found by then. The egg hunt will also be extended until Tuesday morning at 10 AM EDT.

Could someone help me out with this?

I was just wondering if anyone would be willing to come and visit my dream town and give me some advice. I'm feeling a bit tired of my town at the moment so I'm looking to spruce it up a little bit. Any advice would be really appreciated.

I would love to visit it! I'll be visiting as soon as I can and let you know :)

I'm not very good at reviewing towns, so I'll just be listing things as I wander.

- Exterior is very cute, even with the sweet door. The icing sort of pulls it together.
- Main room is bright and open. Opportunity here to recolor the minimalist set!
- Left room is very snug. Gives that regal feeling without being pompous.
- Spa/bathroom is relaxing. Nice symmetry. Favorite room.
- Kitchen could use some recoloring maybe? The alpine set could have green fabric to match the fridge and pull the room together.
- Upstairs is so feminine! Love the use of eggs as decoration.
Final comments: I like what you have going, but have you considered a continuous theme throughout the house? I'm not saying use the same set in every room, but decorating to get a specific feeling. Cozy, sweet, extravagance even!

- Area in front of the Mayor's house is empty! You've got a lovely space to add a interest point, or use your house as one. I like what you've been doing with the bush garden areas, so one here might be beautiful while still allowing a view of your house.
- I like the perfect peach/bush row leading to your house.
- Walking areas feel a little empty. Do you intend to run them down to natural dirt paths, or use a QR path? Adding a few more bushes or trees right next to the "path" might help. Especially edges one tile away from a river or cliff edge?
- You've a couple different flora combinations going on. With the common flower (red, yellow, white) borders, then purple and whites and pink lilies in featured areas. With azaleas. I think the town would be pulled together a little more if you chose a tighter color scheme?
- Your pond area is cute, but a little flat. Would you consider swapping the bushes for trees? Then maybe add an random bush in the line on each side? Or vice versa? Some mushrooms and clovers would work well by the water's edge.
- Favorite areas are the train station fountain and the windmill despite how they are. They give off a peaceful feeling.
Final comments: I think picking color combinations would help pull your town together. While some areas feel quite tranquil with cool colors, others are busier with bright warm colors. As a whole, your town feels very open. With lots of potential. You have many great ideas ideas when it comes to landscaping--the bush gardens, the fountain and windmill areas. But something's missing. Whether that be paths/dirt paths or just filling in some open areas, I think this is just the beginning of what will be a very beautiful town. c:

Thank you so much! The mayor's house is going through a redecoration at the moment so I'll take into account the theme idea. I love the suggestion of a little bush garden outside my house, that area has frustrated me for so long because nothing seems to work there, but that's a good idea! Thank you for taking the time to write the review, it has really helped ^^
