Gummysaur,
I just finished with the Dream visit.
I like the layout of the town. Mine has the beach facing south, southeast, and east. This one is south, southwest, and west. If I had a town that is facing this direction, the map of the town for which
Gummysaur resides would be a really good selection.
When I navigated the town, I made some notes. And I'll share them.
POSITIVES
•
The paths. They're detailed in design and they're generous in areas covered.
•
The villagers. A good selection. I have always liked Mint, who I had in "City Folk." She's a snooty villager; but she is fair. I discovered Erik here, and I wouldn't mind him in my town. Rudy is one to whom I've taken a shine. So it's good that Gummysaur has these three among the town's villagers.
•
Julia's house. She is ripe for HH Showcase shoppers in need of merchandise. I love Mermaid room. The room with Jungle Floor includes special items. And that was fun to navigate. The bathroom sink, in the basement, is a reason why I brought up the HH Showcase.
•
The hybrids. There is a very good selection.
NEGATIVES
•
Need a third additional bridge. Two bridges, when could have three, isn't really enough. I have suggestions on the topic. But I would suggest, for moving around the town, that a third be built.
•
Need more Projects. I'll also go into that in a moment.
SUGGESTIONS
•
I think a couple Projects, which have height, are needed for the town. Those can costs hundreds' of thousands in bells. But they make the town visually more interesting and stimulating.
(See: http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Public_Works_Projects .)[/I]
To be more specific:
•
Projects with height: A public art like Flower Arch would be visually interesting at a relatively low cost. It's modest in height but also provides even more greenery. An Archway Sculpture, or any other you might prefer from that category, would also be really good for height and visual interest. One of the following―Lighthouse, Tower, or Windmill―would be dramatic and have a lot of impact. (If you lose both Gala and Genjy, from the southeast side of town, building one of those in that area may be good.)
•
Re-think the bridges' locations. You have a town layout where it would look good to place two bridges just about opposite each other which could take humans and villagers in diagonal directions. On the west side, you could place it traveling in the direction of northwest/southeast. On the east side, you could place one traveling in the direction of northeast/southwest. It's aesthetically interesting. I would do that, and then use a third bridge that travels north/south. Place that right in the center of your map.
To be more specific:
• \ Northwest/Southeast. I'm referring to the area you could cross over at angle and see pink tulips in that Dream Address.
• / Northeast/Southwest: It's practically across from the opposite-direction suggestion.
• | North/South: It's immediately south of where you placed the Fountain. You have some hybrids there. (A blue one.) Crossing over south, you would be close to the Park Clock. (Just east of it.) And you would be to the left of Pippy's house. (Just west of it.) The path would go right in between the Park Clock and Pippy's house.
Aside from my suggestions, I think you generally have a successful town, Gummysaur. What you do. What I do. It's creativity. But I hope some suggestions might help to make this seem more interesting. I had the impression, after reading your thread's opening post, that you need some tweaking.

Gummysaur,
If you want to look at my town, and review it, you should know I'm going to be doing an update in the next couple days. I just gained Simon. And I'm about to lose Keaton. I'm going to wait for Keaton to move out, along with some cleaning up, before I have Luna update my town.
