Hey guys! I have a town and I feel it's underdeveloped and not that great, but not many people have reviewed it for me. I would love if some kind (or maybe just bored) people out there could visit my dream town and critique it? :) The address is in my signature.

Hey! I'd love to! Review for review though? I'm feeling the same way.
My Dream Address is 4500-3408-2089

I'd also like a review, my DA is in my sig. :) I'll review yours now, and I can get back to you in a bit.

I love your town! It's great! I like the path you have with the border of water it's so cool! Question: What is the light thing you have in the middle of your house? It is SOO COOL and I need one and wanna know where you got it lol

first of all, i absolutely LOVE julia's outfit. i also like your map and the placement of houses. the idea with the water/canal next to each path is neat and i like the fact that your flowers and trees seem to grow naturally all over the place and however they want.

for my taste it's too much path though. it get what you are trying to do and it's probably just personal taste (i'm currently planting trees wherever i can because i want to build a kind of forest-y town) but i wasn't too fond of it. i also didn't get your players' homes. you were probably aiming for as many as happy home academy points as possible by placing certain things a certain way but i didn't quite feel it.

please don't hate me for this review :( i'm just stating my honest opinion here.

I'm only doing review-for-review x) I don't really have enough time to review several towns D:

Reviews:
mickey: First, I love your villagers. They're all very unique (PEACHES <3) But the houses and buildings seem to be a little all over the place D: For example the Caf? is far from the police station and town hall. idk, all mine are close together, so I guess that's how I like it? xD Your character's outfit doesn't exactly have a theme too, but I love the shirt uwu For the right room,I'd suggest playing K.K. Imperial or K.K. Casbah instead of Stale Cupcakes. The middle room is very cool. The left room is cool, I like the idea of putting the fossil on the table. Balloon set isn't my taste, though. I LOVE your basement! I'd suggest some paths for the town .w.

FireNinja: I love Steve's outfit :D Your town layout is really cool, and your villagers are adorable. I looked only at Stev's home, since Rad's looked a little newish. I love your paths. (You and mickey have the same music in their main room. Huh. xD) The main room doesn't really have any theme though D: Other than that, the house looks pretty cool, especially the left room.

Replies to Reviews:
mickey: The light thing, as in the tiki torch above the kitchen corner? That was made by Cyrus, I gave him 3 golden nuggets and he made that for me :)

lilylily: Thank you about the outfit :D The paths are everywhere because I hate dead grass and yeah. House has no theme because I'm trying to get the golden exterior pieces xD

Gummysaur,

I just finished with the Dream visit.

I like the layout of the town. Mine has the beach facing south, southeast, and east. This one is south, southwest, and west. If I had a town that is facing this direction, the map of the town for which Gummysaur resides would be a really good selection.

When I navigated the town, I made some notes. And I'll share them.

POSITIVES

The paths. They're detailed in design and they're generous in areas covered.

The villagers. A good selection. I have always liked Mint, who I had in "City Folk." She's a snooty villager; but she is fair. I discovered Erik here, and I wouldn't mind him in my town. Rudy is one to whom I've taken a shine. So it's good that Gummysaur has these three among the town's villagers.

Julia's house. She is ripe for HH Showcase shoppers in need of merchandise. I love Mermaid room. The room with Jungle Floor includes special items. And that was fun to navigate. The bathroom sink, in the basement, is a reason why I brought up the HH Showcase.

The hybrids. There is a very good selection.

NEGATIVES

Need a third additional bridge. Two bridges, when could have three, isn't really enough. I have suggestions on the topic. But I would suggest, for moving around the town, that a third be built.

Need more Projects. I'll also go into that in a moment.

SUGGESTIONS

I think a couple Projects, which have height, are needed for the town. Those can costs hundreds' of thousands in bells. But they make the town visually more interesting and stimulating. (See: http://animalcrossing.wikia.com/wiki/Public_Works_Projects .)[/I]

To be more specific:
Projects with height: A public art like Flower Arch would be visually interesting at a relatively low cost. It's modest in height but also provides even more greenery. An Archway Sculpture, or any other you might prefer from that category, would also be really good for height and visual interest. One of the following―Lighthouse, Tower, or Windmill―would be dramatic and have a lot of impact. (If you lose both Gala and Genjy, from the southeast side of town, building one of those in that area may be good.)

Re-think the bridges' locations. You have a town layout where it would look good to place two bridges just about opposite each other which could take humans and villagers in diagonal directions. On the west side, you could place it traveling in the direction of northwest/southeast. On the east side, you could place one traveling in the direction of northeast/southwest. It's aesthetically interesting. I would do that, and then use a third bridge that travels north/south. Place that right in the center of your map.

To be more specific:
• \ Northwest/Southeast. I'm referring to the area you could cross over at angle and see pink tulips in that Dream Address.
• / Northeast/Southwest: It's practically across from the opposite-direction suggestion.
• | North/South: It's immediately south of where you placed the Fountain. You have some hybrids there. (A blue one.) Crossing over south, you would be close to the Park Clock. (Just east of it.) And you would be to the left of Pippy's house. (Just west of it.) The path would go right in between the Park Clock and Pippy's house.

Aside from my suggestions, I think you generally have a successful town, Gummysaur. What you do. What I do. It's creativity. But I hope some suggestions might help to make this seem more interesting. I had the impression, after reading your thread's opening post, that you need some tweaking.

Gummysaur,

If you want to look at my town, and review it, you should know I'm going to be doing an update in the next couple days. I just gained Simon. And I'm about to lose Keaton. I'm going to wait for Keaton to move out, along with some cleaning up, before I have Luna update my town.

Thank you so much! I'll review when I have more time.

Also, quick correction, the Julia house (mine) isn't actually the mayor! Gabby is, she just quit the game and never plays it so I pretty much tried to take control xD just a little things. Thank you again for the suggestions.

The only thing actually finished is the basement, the rest is to rack up HHA points. xP Anyway, I'm getting to the review now, and thanks for the outfit complement.

Julia's house:
Main room: Not bad, but the mummy's casket doesn't really fit,nor does the zodiac horse, and the mirror thingawhatever is sort of blocking the table. It's also a bit cluttered, but eh.
Back room: Not much to say, other than GL with the rest of the set!
Left room: Get this to 8x8. It's way too cluttered at this size. Get rid of the golden stuff as well.
Right room: I actually really liked this room. One minor thing is to get the autumn leaf chair to face the right way.
Upstairs: (oh hey the sleek set how coincidental) Good, but I'd get rid of the dresser and bed if you want to go in that direction of sort of a caf?.
Basement: Nice bathroom. Not really much there.

Town:
Your paths look amazing! The river thing was great, I think you should get a vertical one if you can. Get Moe out, you could do something with a fountain there. Flower placement is a bit disorganized. Your villagers are great, and your paths are not clashing with house placement. Not too shabby if you ask me.

i was in a rush earlier so I can reply to your review better now, Candy.

About the bridges, My river is small so I can only fit two bridges. I'd love to put a third but the only place that would be good already has a fountain and a villager's house near it and I can't fit it there >.< I'm trying to do the higher PwPs, in fact I'm trying to force the Flower Arch out of Lily or Gala by spamming the PwP trick, but they wont suggest it, pfft. Your negatives are correct and I'm fixing them somewhat (I can't do much about the bridges though D:).

About the positives, thank you very much! I was nervous my flowers sucked because aint nobody got time fo breeding hybrids and I kind of just dumped normal flowers in empty spots v.v My house is pretty much nothing but HHA stuff. I'm frustrated because I really want a cute house but HHA insists I ruin it by spamming sets and ugly rare items everywhere. As soon as I get the golden exterior pieces my whole house is being redone xD

FireNinja: Thank you! I can't wait to see your review :D

All towns are supposed to allow for three bridges. (Or am I wrong?) The river separating the town's northern and southern parts actually appears, on the player map, to be rather large. It is always wise to spread the bridges…and to do so logically. Just envision if you lived there, and there was a lack of convenience in accessing parts of the town.

This is your town. You get to do as you please. But I did focus mainly on the town, and not so much the houses. As I said earlier, if I had a town whose beach faced the direction as yours, I wouldn't mind having your town's map. One thing that is really good is the location of Re-Tail seems fairly close to the Train Station. (A good thing if/when you're hosting people cashing in on their turnips.)

Yeah, but what I was saying is that there's no place that's good for me to place a third bridge. Well...There actually is a really good place, but it's impossible to put it there, since there's already a house and PwP at that area. :(

lilylily: Thank you about the outfit :D The paths are everywhere because I hate dead grass and yeah. House has no theme because I'm trying to get the golden exterior pieces xD

you're very welcome

is your outfit a qr code or something you can buy at gracie/able sisters? i've never seen that skirt before but then again i'm not playing ac:nl that long.

dead grass i understand :) that's the reason i also have flowers everywhere. they prevent me from running. heh.

i figured as much. to be honest, i never cared that much about hha points (too busy shaking trees and slapping unwanted villagers) but i understand people who do. as someone else already said, your homes will be a paradise for any hhs shopper passing you. (wanna come over? j/k, at least somewhat.)

the bridge struggle is real... the perfect spot i wanted to build my third one in has been taken by ruby's house. i love ruby, but sometimes i just wanna strangle her because of that. :(

My outfit is:
Blue Ribbon
Mint Glasses
Blue Argyle Shirt (Gracie gave it to me, but you can still buy it I think)
Dry-denim Skirt
White Socks
Patched Shoes
^ All of those you can buy at the stores.

I have broken my flowers three billion times due to reckless running x)

Sad thing is I NEVER StreetPass. I really should start so I could help out people in the HHA showcase :P

bridge struggle sucks. WHY did I build a face-cutout thing there and WHY did Pashmina move there...Oh, did I mention I have a rock there too? e_e

In my town of Applewin, the Flower Arch was suggested to me by Pompom. I don't know if that means anything; but I thought I should mention it.

thanks for the clothing list <3 i'll have an eye out for them.

i faceplanted into a patch of jacob's ladders once, ruining three of them :(

you should! :) i'm really happy every time i see a new house in my hhs. it's fun to wander around and see how people decorate their homes, maybe snatch an idea or two and order some items you don't have yet. many sets i was only able to complete because of that.

To start off, I like your map and your layout, maybe not the Re-Tail but hey that can't be helped.

I don't really like you paths much, there doesn't seem to be any direction to them, they just seem to be everywhere. The water border does look cool but again is only in random places. You also look like you're missing a bit of path in front of Pippy's house.

I like your bridge placement and I don't really think you need a third bridge as there doesn't look to be a good place to put one.
Campsite seems to be in an odd place but I like where your police station and cafe are.
Other PWPs just seem to be spotted around without order as well.

I won't judge on the inside of your houses, bit messy but just for HHA points I'm guessing? Nice kitchen in the corner though.

I do love your flag and have stolen the pattern :P
I won't use it as a flag though, I just think it's pretty.
