My computer crashed recently but my dad keeps blaming my game for viruses or it's too big. I don't want my copy of CoD4 taken away!
Move if it's in the wrong place.

First off, old computers aren't bad, they just suck when operating systems and commands. Second, is this an illegal or legal CoD4 game? Third, if it's legit, tell your dad most computer games you install from a disc don't cause viruses, he's wrong about that. Last but not least 4th, could you list your specs? Your ram might be at the edge of having no more ram left.Amy said:is your computer one of those old brick *censored.2.0* holes? if it is its probably just old! xP

if that doesnt work then its
Start>run>dxdiag
On the first page look at the "Memory:" Line. That's your ram, and if it's under 500 MB, then you're screwed.XArceus said:Now what?xeladude said:Start menu>run>cmd>dxdiag

Hm... that's like on the edge of dying, a great RAM is 1500+. Lower is okay, but under 500 is like asking for trouble.XArceus said:It has 958 here, my other computer broke so I'll have to check it later when it's fixed.
How could you even start COD4 with that amount of RAM? That's a horribly low amount.XArceus said:It has 958 here, my other computer broke so I'll have to check it later when it's fixed.
