Completing Towns

I completely finished my town last November and once I was about 80% done I started thinking about what I would do once I finished. My house isn't fully expanded because I like the look of it being small but I'll expand it soon enough eventually. I'm actually kinda sad that I'm done now actually. The whole point of animal crossing for me was landscaping my town trying to get it the way I want but now that process is over so I guess I'm both sad and happy about it.

I have a second copy of the game though so I might make a second town one day.

I had a town that I put 500+ hours into and "finished" pretty quickly by getting a lot of help on the forums, but it was kind of too perfect. I got fossils, art, villagers, and catalog items so quickly that there was nothing to actually do in game.

Now I have a new town and I'm playing much more slowly. I only keep villagers that I get naturally through the game and I pretty much only use this site to get DLC. It's way more rewarding this way and I hope I don't finish it for a long time!
