Giveaway Completely FREE flower hybrids to give

Hey guys, I'm planning to make my whole island a completely giveaway and free flower island. There are no trees, no decorations, no furniture, really nothing, besides all animals' houses and buildings. All I have is giant empty grass for flowers to grow. I fast ran the whole island, it was really big when there's nothing besides buildings. So my basic idea is that everyone can come over, water some flowers and only take hybrids. I don't need any tip or diy or furniture, nothing in return.

But to make this happen sustainably and fair for whoever comes to my island and to stop those who try to sabotage my island/flowers, I do need some good and constructive ideas. So here are some of my ideas and questions.

1. Everyone needs to water flowers. I think it's only fair before you get some free hybrid flowers, you water some of the flowers that haven't been waters by others. Doing this doesn't only show your gratitude but also it does increase the chance of getting more hybrid flowers next day. But my question is how many flowers should every visitor water? I'm not able to really calculate how many flowers I can possibly have when I eventually have flowers all over my island, but there're going to be tons of flowers needed to be watered everyday. So ... thoughts?

2. How many hybrid(s) can each visitor take per trip? Or only one trip allowed everyday?

3. What rules to take those more rare hybrids? For example, green mums, blue and golden roses?

4. Plant certain flowers more than others? I assume that there should be all types of flowers on my island. But take roses for example, they do need more generations and time to give different hybrids. So should we plant more roses? Or other flowers in more demand?

5. Layout ideas? As I mentioned, my intentions are not to make my island the way I want. I want it to be effective, easy and convenient and completely FREE for every visitor. So any thoughts?

6. Planting? I have no problem providing all the seeds and love to take donations of seeds because I assume it's going to take lots of seeds to really have flowers all over the land. But planting all of them could be confusing and taking forever for myself to plan and plant by myself. I do need some help of this. Thoughts?

7. Rules to stop people who intentionally sabotage our flower island? I can't really think of any honestly. Thoughts?

5. You can make sections for different flower types and hybrids to spawn, so an area for pink roses to spawn in one fence and orange roses to spawn in another etc and you can make a giant grid and allocate section by coordinates to make it easier to navigate.

I was thinking, you can make a table with 3 columns
First one for the hybrid, second for the user that wants the hybrid, third for the additional users that will water those flowers, fourth waiting line for those hybrids.
The user that wants those hybrids will water that section where those hybrids will spawn. One user can be allocated to one hybrid, so that you don’t need to worry about distributing a hybrid.
Say if 2 people sign up for pink roses, they both water those white and red roses and only one spawns, one will get it, the other will wait. They water them again and two spawns, now it’s a matter of who’s more nice. Anyways it’s just meh.

So once a day a user will be allocated a hybrid section of their choice, whilst they are in the island they are obliged to water 2 other flower sections that have been allocated to other people, just so yano everyone’s chance of planting a hybrid spawns increases. Their name will be put beside in the third column to the other’s person’s hybrid section that they flowered.
Now the next day, whatever new hybrids spawn in the section will be given to the person who wanted it and was allocated to it. Now it’s a matter of luck and less conflict, if the person gets no hybrids, they can water it again that day and other 2 sections as a rule. Those that got hybrids will be put to the back of the waiting line (if there is one for that same hybrid or a different hybrid and wait for their turn to flower and get hybrids.

7. You can get plants from giveaways

Hmmm, I’m not sure if there’s a max amount of hybrids that can spawn. Actually I don’t think there should be a waiting line or list, so screw the fourth column cuz you’d want people to respond ASAP to keep the thing moving, so slots are reset and renewed each day. But if the person doesn’t get a hybrid they can water again (they shouldn’t mind since it’s free). If you tt it’d be quicker to breed flowers but then you’d need to set a time frame, so like every 5 hours you tt the next day or something, to give enough time for people to respond and water flowers.


That’s all I can think of atm, there’s still lots to think about not sure if I’m making sense but hope it helps answer some of your questions and give you an idea. Good luck!

Yeah definitely, you’d need some volunteers, and they can be the first ones to water, they’d get dibs for the first 2 days of watering and have a choice of what hybrids they want to water. You could make the first ever hybrid section as a model to show how you want others to lay it out and have them follow it’s structure.

You could have a different day where certain hybrids are available to water. E.g Monday-rose hybrids, Tuesday-blue hybrids, Wednesday gold roses and green mums (this would help if there’s a hybrid spawn limit) and that way it’s special for the volunteers as they get to choose rather than following the days set.

On rainy days you can close the island, cuz the rain will water the flowers and any hybrids that spawn you can place them a section where people can pluck flowers for their DIYs
