I am updating an old thread I made a couples years ago about my first Animal Crossing town. I have since then redone a few rooms, and tided up a bit. Please come visit! I worked really hard on this town, it is 100% original and not hacked at all. Thanks :3 <3

The town of Aquarius is a natural pink/pastel themed town in the cherry blossom season. Currently saved at 7am because it's my favorite music. Little gifts for you are scattered throughout the town! Come wander c:

Detailed description of Aquarius
Aquarius is home to three residents, Sarah (the mayor), Jody, and Klondike.

Mayor Sarah's house is closest to the beach, since she is secretly (or not so secretly) a mermaid. The rooms to the left and right display treasures Mayor Sarah has collected from around the world or found at the bottom of the ocean. The back room is a spa where Sarah occasionally gives massages and traditional medicine to her villagers, which she learned about from somewhere far away. Upstairs is her bedroom and is decorated to remind her of her home under the sea.

Jody is the second character in Aquarius. She is a creative daydreamer who always has her head in the clouds. She is a cute but strange character who lives up in the mountains. It is rumored that Jodie actually came from outer space! Her space ship is allegedly hidden on the top floor of her house. The back room of her house is the town's library and observatory, which allows Jody to learn about the earth while also being able to see her home in the stars.
Fun fact, Jody's left room represents my dorm room in college!

Klondike is the last character to move into Aquarius. He is named after my family’s first dog. He is Mayor Sarah’s adopted little brother, which is why his house is very close to hers. He loves dirt, bugs, and plants, which can be seen inside his house.

This town is a pleasant place to be, with happy carefree residents. It was originally saved at 7am in the cherry blossom season. Colors from the trees, grass, flowers, path, characters, and public works all come together to form a cohesive pallet. We hope you take time to wander through, and return home with a smile on your face.

I went and visited your town! It was so enjoyable and carefree- I loved it.

My favorite house would have to be Klondike's, though Jodie's backroom comes in a close second for my favorite rooms.

Wandering around was a blast, and the whole vibe came together perfectly. Everything looked just so, without the whole 'this was obviously planned' thing. Do you know what I mean? As in it all looks like it's just there. Sorry if this sounds odd. lol

You did an incredible job at designing Aquarius! Thanks for sharing this with us.

Oh my gosh, its so funny you say that because, as I just explained in a recent post, I didn't reset for a fruit, map layout, etc. and instead worked with what I had:

"...ACNL was my first animal crossing game so I learned a lot as I played. This allowed me to kind of go with the flow, and not be too controlling and reset a bunch...Once I played freely and discovered ACNL on my own, I joined this site and began to plan out my town and traded/bought some villagers and furniture...I never reset my town for a particular map and fruit, and I'm glad I didn't! It was fun to work with what I had, and made my town even more special..."

In fact, the only time I "reset" was for 6/10 villagers (for their house location). The other villagers were somewhat random. Sometimes it was tempting to reset for a "better" map or town hall location, but as I stated I'm glad I kept my original town, because it not only made it more rewarding to complete, but does give it that carefree natural "planned but not planned" feel.

I really enjoyed the game this way, and encourage you guys to play New Horizons with a similar mindset (if you want :3)!

Also thank you and RedTropicalPeachyFish for visiting, and I am so glad you are enjoying my town :)
