Club Tortimer leaving glitch

I mentioned this in another thread, but it happened again, in a slightly different way.

This time a female player kept commenting about the size of things I probably can't mention here. I just tried to buy a thing and leave. Upon selecting the Kapp'n icon on the lower screen, I seemed to be taken away by Kapp'n as usual, followed by the brief sound effect that goes with the waiting icon. Then I arrived back at the same island with the intentionally annoying person, and noticed Leilani and the Kapp'n icon didn't respond at all this time, so I saw Resetti again. I'm a little concerned that I could be seeing Resetti too much like this eventually. I'm pretty sure back in my first town he said something like "if this happens again, I'm going to be mad".

Anyone else encountering something like this?

That is so weird, I haven't encountered anything else weird since my last incident. I've only gone back twice since then though and they were very brief visits and no hackers present at the time. So if I'm reading this correctly even though you press the Kapp'n icon on the lower screen and it takes you through the cut scene of leaving and everything he takes you back to the same island with the same people?

That's so weird to me. As far as seeing Resetti too much, I don't think anything will happen if you see him too much or make him angry. I think if anything his lectures might get angrier and more lengthy, but I'm not sure that anything else will happen. I mean the only reason we even see Resetti is because we opted in to having him.

It's so frustrating because I really don't mind hackers and if I had the resources to hack I probably would just so I can fix my crap map and exploit the amazing creativity that goes along with it. However when people do things that disrupt others game play and causes them to lose things and frequently encounter errors, and having to reset is so annoying to me. Like if you want to spawn in your frying pans and millions of bells and give them away go right ahead! But don't start purposely ruining others game play just for your own giggles. I could rant on this for a long time lol. Like I can't tell you how many times I've worked so hard on the islands getting sharks and beetles just to get booted and nothing saved. It's annoying. That's why I stopped going.

so you tapped the "go home" button, kapp'n seemed to take you home as usual but instead you ended up back at the island you were already at? or you left successfully, went back to the island and ended up at the same one, with none of the NPCs there responding, and you errored?

if it's the first one, that's very, very weird. if the second then it's just a wifi glitch i'm assuming.
