Does the item selection change per day or everytime you connect?

Items for sale found on your main island will change depending on which date you are in currently. The selection will be the same for the other main islands, assuming they are on the same date as you do.

Club Tortimer Island is a different beast. Every time you get out of there and come back, the selection will change. Though, the rarer items will still require you to wrestle a lot against the RNG.
