(CLOSED) What is this hairstyle?

I went to the island to try and find a hammer and after like my fifth island hop I said screw it and decided to do tours instead. The island I got on happen to have this Japanese person and we did a couple tours together and had fun! She had to leave after the second one, but she had the weirdest hair?

I don't know if it's just a Japan exclusive in ACNL or something, but I've never seen it before. What is it?
