August is my favorite month!
In celebration of August, I am doing a giveway of one million bells!
Giveaway will end 9:00 PM my time, which is PST (it's now 11:00 AM here on West Coast
To enter, just write a short post of why you also love August!
I am going to choose the one that I like the best, so be creative
I also love poetry, so anything poetic will grab me! lol

August is laughing across the sky,
Laughing while paddle, canoe and I
Drift, drift,
Where the hills uplift
On either side of the current swift.

Two Million Bell Winners!!
marigoldilocks ... 1,000,000 Bells
The sun presses its cheek against the land,
scorching the grass,
It is sipping from the lakes and rivers,
hidden islands are exposed.
Skin baked brown, Robbie shows his farmer's tan,
others burned red,
Sweat runs in rivulets all down your back,
It is oppressively hot.
Seeking the shade and air-conditioning,
park under trees,
The heat and sun are a small price to pay,
When we skip Snowmageddon.
I loved your poem!! ( ♥Robbie is my husband and we were engaged in August and married in August ... Just two reasons for loving this month♥) He is very tanned because he loves the outdoors and gardening!

August Dreams
However special all months be
August is truly beautiful to me.
Big clouds cover the sky each day
As summer begins to fade away.
But alas the fun has just begun
When Isabelle plans events to come.
With a kaboom and crackle and sparkle and pow
The villagers look up and clap and wow!
With a net in hand I search for bugs
While mom sends an ice maker and lots of hugs.
I wear my bopper on my head each day
And with boxed figurine and mini car I sit and play.
So much to do in such little time
Yet one thing is for sure..
The leaves may change and the month will end
'Tho August shall always remain my friend.

wow! I love August because it's the hottest time of the summer for my state, WA and it doesn't get hot there as it is, so having warmer weather in August is really nice ^_^ Also, a lot of my families garden, and food things are coming to fruition, which is great to have fresh fruit and veggies around!
