City Town Name Ideas

Hey friends! In a couple days I plan on selling Braeburn and building a city-inspired town. I'm in something of a rut for name ideas and looking for help. Some more info about the city I want to make:

? Mayor will be the super-wealthy entrepreneur
? Alt homes will include an Office Building, Shops (convenience store, caf?, boutique, etc), something else?
? A ton of QR street paths with many modern PWPs
? Minimal landscaping, very meticulous
? Most villager homes in the "work district", in a row
? Separate district for "wealthy" characters (Mayor, Olaf, Chops, etc), Bell trees, Gold roses​

Some ideas I had for names were a play on "metropolis", "urban", and major US cities, but super open to suggestions!

Perhaps try looking into the etymology of real world cities. That way your town can sound like a place that could actually be a real city. This video has a decent explanation on how place names can change over time.

I think it would be neat to do some kind of word/name meaning "wealth" in a different language. That's one of my favorite things to do because the names usually aren't taken. Like my town, Arryire is how you say "fall" in another language. I also think a good -burg ending name would be nice. I see so many -ville -town names... maybe a -vale would be nice too.

Also just wanted to say I'm glad you're doing a modern city, I feel like there really aren't many industrial kind of towns and they're always nice to see

I was going to suggest Metropolis! That or maybe Metroville?

I think I'm going to go with Aurmont – derived from aurum, latin for gold, with a stately-sounding little suffix. I wish I could have gotten -opolis to work, but it's just too many darn letters.
