Town of Shumai Archives

I have taken over 1,000 screenshots since New Horizons first released... I may have a problem... And so to help curb that problem, I've decided to start this journal in order to save and share my favorite screenshots. This way I won't feel any guilt clearing all of the photos off of my switch. c: And it's better to start now than later with 10,000 images to go through.......

I'm pretty certain I've taken at least one screenshot every day since NH's release. So I'll be beginning this journal in the past so you'll see all of my town's development... Hopefully. (no idea what the quality of these screenshots will be) Regardless hope you enjoy seeing my little island. This will mostly be photos but I might sprinkle in a little commentary. Major work in progress. This is extremely low effort content folks. Thank you for stopping by!

Week One. Day One.

My husband and I have established our island: Shumai. This is the name we were both happy with and agreed on. Shumai is one of my favorite foods, and it just sounds really cute. Didn't take much screenshots on release day. We hit the goldmine and got both Rudy and Fuchsia as our starters. Both adorable, and became permanent residents on Shumai.

also forgot to mention we literally picked our map from the first set of maps presented to us. No resetting, we stuck with what we got and I am very happy with it. c: although sometimes I regret the double south facing rivers lol

Day Two

Probably one of the last photos I took with my husband. He stopped playing the game pretty quickly xD ...and he was acting way more hyped about it releasing than me! the casual. ...And so, I ventured on the journey of developing "our" island, alone. (Tbh it's much easier this way lol)​
