I invited Tia from the campsite 2 weeks ago. When she moved in she loved to pick bad spots for her house such as in the middle of a road or where trees stood. After resetting more then 20 times I eventually agreed to a spot near the cliff since I didn't have any projects for it at the time. Until now.

In the past week I gotten a lot of project suggestions, including a lighthouse and windmill which I'd like to build where Tia build her house. There is a move-out sequence going on in my town but I keep saying no so it switches from villager to villager. I could move her out if I wished to.

Should I let Tia go for the sake of a project?

I kicked Mallary out to build a lighthouse in the exact same situation (though Mallary was originally an unexpected streetpass movein). So my gut response would be "yes", but I've no strong attachments to my villagers. Evidently you like Tia since you spent the time to move her in from the campsite - do you like her more than you'd like a lighthouse in that spot?

In terms of drama, I don't see a long term relationship between us but I also don't feel like a cold and emotionless project should be the reason for us to break up. I like spending time with her and certainly not only because she's considered a celebrity among villagers. I'm not a most-wanted villagers collector, although I have Ankha and Beau in my town, but it's not like I have 0 emotional attachment to villagers. On the other hand, it's just a game and everyone is bound to move out at some point.

Relationships are complicated~

You could try to get her again.. In my village Charlise won't budge even though I'm just COMPLETELY ignoring her. But I think that if you don't mind letting villagers move out, then you would have more joy of a pwp then of a villager.

Is she a dreamy? If not, I'd say let her go.
I had Tom in my town, and he was pretty cool, but his house was right where I wanted a windmill, so I let him go. I love my villagers, but as long as I know I'll be getting rid of them at some point because they're not a dreamy, why not get rid of them for the sake of a PWP?

Kabuki is a dreamie of mine and I'm still kicking him out (he's actually moving either tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, I forgot) because his house is in a place where I want to build something. So I would let Tia go as well. ^^ But in the end, it's up to you and what's more important for you - the villagers or your overall look of your town. Since you can always get Tia back in case you cycle, I'd probably prefer the look of the town, but to each their own. :)

If shes not your dreamie, let her go... There are plenty of people who would want her! :). I wish i had paid more attention to layout. After visiting some dream towns, i realize how hapzard my town is. I think its good you are planning the layout

If she's one of your dream villagers, I'd try to work around her. If not, I'd let her go to another town (given how popular she is, I'm sure you'd have no problem finding a nice home) and perhaps you could even trade her for one of your dreamies! You'd have a villager you liked more, and you'd be able to build your PWP where you want. It's a win-win situation, in my opinion.

I think it really depends on how attached you are. I really like Savannah, but her house was exactly where I wanted to build something. I didn't rush her out, but when she finally asked to move I let her go. There are so many potential villagers out there, you'll get someone else you really like. At the same time, if you want to hang on to her a while longer, you can always put that lighthouse there later. I still haven't found a good spot for my windmill and it was requested back in June!! One of these days I'll get it built.

I agree with everyone else, if she's not one of your dreamies then let her go. If she is then work something else out for your pwps.

You get her to move out, they pick her up, you cycle 16, and they get her back to you.

Cycling 16 is a PAIN in the rear if you're working on your town, unless you're fine resetting with house positions so they don't move over your flowers, etc. If you like Tia, you should either put the lighthouse in another place or cycle 16. Like you said, it's not worth it to just let Tia go.

I was in the same situation for Spork. He was in the exact same spot. And he never wanted to move. And when he finally, did I was upset that he had moved. I guess it depends on how much you liked them. Oh and when he did move, he gave me his picture so I remember :)

Letting go is probably the best option. She might move back somewhere in the summer when I had 16 other villagers.

I'd say let go if she's not your dreamie, you can always get her back later on and hopefully in a better spot :)
