Cherry Blossom recipes?

So far I'm missing:
cherry blossom bonsai
cherry blossom wall
cherry blossom petal pile
cherry blossom pouchette
sakura flooring
cherry blossom wall clock

And I haven't found a new recipe that's not a repeat in days! Even all my bunny day recipes have been repeats and I'm still missing:
egg arch
egg toy
egg wand

I pop all the balloons I can and lately they've been mostly sky eggs or the usual stuff depending on the balloon type... Then I only get 1 normal message bottle and 1 bunny day bottle - past few days it's been a regular recipe and a repeat bunny day one... It's nearing the end of the event and I don't really know what to do?
I talk to all my residents daily as well but also only been getting regular recipes...

The Bunny Day recipes that you're missing can only be received on the last day of the event (April 12th), so you're good to go there.

The Cherry Blossom recipes is just really bad luck. You really have to kind of farm them. I got like one a day for half the event just doing normal stuff, then I spent the last half of the event all day fishing on either the west or east beach (whichever one that is the direction that is currently spawning balloons), and I finally got them like that. But it basically took a few days of literally shooting down every single non-Bunny Day balloon by camping at either beach.

I think the Mystery Island Tours also have messages in a bottle? I'm not sure if the Cherry Blossom recipes can be found there, but using up a NMT for a chance at a recipe doesn't sound great; it's probably better to directly trade your tickets for recipes.

I don't seem to have a lot of luck getting message bottles on island tours - think I've only found one or 2! I suppose I'll just have to hunker down and sit on the beach waiting for balloons if I want those cherry blossom recipes - I REALLY don't wanna miss the pouchette!
It seems like there haven't been as many balloons today but that may just be because I really want to pop them aha.

I'm really frustrated about the cherry blossom event and bunny day event overlapping. I want all the recipes so bad for the cherry blossom stuff but I don't have time to camp on the beach all day. (although I'm definitely trying lol)

Unfortunately, camping out for recipes is the only real way to get all the cherry blossom recipes without either 1) pulling 12 hour playtimes per day or 2) trading for them. I spent an hour or so a night for the past week to get them all.

I want all the recipes so bad for the cherry blossom stuff but I don't have time to camp on the beach all day. (although I'm definitely trying lol)

So, it looks like there may actually be a way to make Good Balloons spawn more reliably? It does require you to go out of the way to farm them, and I haven't tested this out, and it may not be 100% reliable/true, but if anyone is desperate, here you go.

Even if this isn't a thing, the balloon spawning times are correct, so you can at least check your beach at those times if you didn't already know that. And going into buildings tends to do stuff like despawn/reset balloons, so you definitely don't want to go into a building if there may be a balloon flying around. The only thing the post doesn't fully describe is how balloon direction is consistent and will swap at 6 pm. For example, my balloons always go from east to west during the day. After 6 pm, it switches to west to east. Your town may be the opposite. So that's how you know which beach to camp on.

And saaame. I stopped shooting down the Bunny Day balloons after I maxed out that Nook Miles achievement thing. I'm waiting to see if the Egg furniture can become a hot item at Nook's Cranny, so I can just craft a bunch en masse and hopefully bring in some Bells that way. I'll probably keep a stack or two around just because I realized eating them gives the same abilities as eating Fruit, and they're more efficient because they stack to 30 instead of 10. So whenever I start building up my island seriously, I can just slam a bunch of eggs to move all my trees, haha.

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to say this in this board, but if at the end of the event, if you (or anyone else who happens to read this) are still missing Recipes and just want the actual items, feel free to PM me, and I'll craft anything from this series for you if you just provide the materials. You won't get the Recipe obviously, but if you still really want the furniture/want it in your catalog, it's better than nothing. There's a lot of other people offering this service already, so I'm just throwing my hat in the ring.

I can't get any cherry blossom recipes. I didn't even get the one Isabelle is supposed to give you so I dunno what that's about. Perhaps it's all luck and maybe you'll find some eventually if you just keep looking? Not helpful, sorry about that.

That is a nice offer but luckily I have a real life friend who is off work because of Covid right now who has managed to get them all. I would just love to have them myself of course.

I've been grinding and I am actually almost through them all. I found that long play is the only way for me I pop around the 20 balloons before finally finding the Cherry Blossom recipes. A kind person on the forum was crafting them for free if you had the materials. So I figured that the pochette and the umbrella aren't necessary to have a recipe for later on so I got those two from there.

My game plan is that if I get either recipe [of those]. I'm just going to trade them off.

I have the pond, the leaf pile, cherry blossom branches, bonsai, Sakura tree wall, the sakura wood flooring.

I REALLY want the lantern.

missing: the sakura leaf flooring, sakura wood wall, the clock. The friggin wand.

Ok.. I managed to get all DIY. It was torture! I feel your pain, I really do. Here’s what worked for me.

-stalk the beach your balloons are coming from every 5 min. For me the duration varied a lot. Sometimes they spawned every 5 min. Then the pattern would change to 10 min or even 15. Go back to 5. Mine was not a consistent 5 or 10 min.

-ignore all bunny balloons

-Empty pockets of any eggs. Have one Sakura leaf in pocketI don’t know if I was fooling myself but it can’t hurt

-if you start getting dud balloons like clay or money consistently, shut game down all the way. Time travel to 2 hours into the future or take a break for a while. The games done giving you DIYs for a while.

-when you start up the game again really try hard to catch the first 5 solid colored balloons. Someone else posted that when they first started up that’s when they had the most luck. I found this to be true too.

Good luck! It can be a real grind. Unless you are going to do other things in your town for those 4 mins, put a movie on.
