After an hour of resetting, I finally got a map I love! I am really liking where the town hall is. I'm going to put all the businesses long that top area in line with retail, and plot reset so all my villagers are in line overlooking the beach as they move in. I'm really excited to see where my new town, Rosebud, goes!

i like it sort of looks like mine, and I am trying to do the same thing, currently all of my villagers are in the south end of the island.. Peggy who is right under the tree moved, so i was able to move the bridge right under the tree.. .. The photo is a bit old but aside from peggys house and the bridge its looks the same..

Yeah, I'm a real fan of the plaza in the center of the town, I wasn't sure about where to put my house, but I'm fine with it in that corner and just sort of out of the way of areas I'm looking to develop!

Updated picture of my map.. I wish i had put my house in a different spot,, I love where you have yours.. Away from everything...Hippeux just moved in and put his house all the way at the top.. UHGGG and stitches has his on the west side of the river, i dont mind it there.. there is a lot you can do with your map.. Let me know where you decide to put everything

I will be updating as I go along for sure! I'm excited because my other town I started on the day the game was released in NA, and I haven't reset it since, so it's hard to do too much with, since I didn't pay too much attention to landscape and design when setting everything up, so this will be so much easier to work with!

whats your native fruit and villagers?

Native fruit is orange, which I'm not crazy about, since my other town is also oranges, I was hoping for apples. But the map made me not want to reset again.

Right now, I have Lolly, Roscoe, Tiffany, Carmen and Coach. Which I think is a pretty amazing set of starting villagers. But, my dreamies will end up being, Purrl, Bunnie, Marina, Lily, Butch, Julian, Marshal, Filbert, Rosie, and Bruce!

The town is named Rosebud after one of my favorite movies, Citizen Kane, so I'm considering doing like a sort of film theme throughout the town, but I'm not sure how that will play out. We'll see!

I am excited to see where you put everything.. Keep us updated. I always love to see how towns progress.. I was the same way with my first two games, the first i got on release, the second soon after and was the same way.. I didnt think much about where things would go or landscaping. Makes it a lot easier picking a map when you have an idea of what you want to do.. wich reall you can only get after playing the game for a while.. Good luck.. off to a great start

I got lucky, it only took me an hour because I was really distracted while I did it, I would say probably 10 or less times.

Usually it takes me two tries to get a map like this XD.


TO ALL MAP RESETERS: Don't think about 'perfect maps' think about 'lets make a town' and trust me, it'll pay off.

oh mannnn..... town plaza at the center is so nice............ dammmnn.. really really makes me wanna reset.... but... i already have 8 of my dreamies, and all PWPs unlocked huhuhu T__T
