Changing paths?

So... Let's say I lay down a path and then I find a new one I enjoy, can I just replace the new path qr's over the pre-existing ones in my qr/design inventory? And the paths will be replaced?

I do this all the time. It helps to keep each part of the path in a specific slot to avoid having to rearrange any on the ground.
