I'm wondering if anyone on the site has played Cave Story. It's pretty much my favorite game ever and I have it on Steam, WiiWare, DSiWare, 3DS eShop, and the 3D remake. It is a bit overkill yeah, but when it comes out for Wii U eShop (if it does) I am certainly getting it.
Awesome game, I wanna try out the 3D remake for the 3DS, though I admit the retro graphics were apart of the reason I found it so charming in the first place....so I was bit hesitant to trying out the new remake, but I figure it'll just give me an excuse to go through the whole game again in a different "lens" so to speak...any excuse to pay it again is good enough for me.
I only beat the original PC version once. I decided to play that version since it's freeware. But having it on the 3DS would make it even better, being hand held. And I don't mean the 3DS remake.
I heard that the original is still better, due to it's originality and untouched music. The remake's music just doesn't do it so well as the original. And music in a game is very important
I have it on my 3DS and its just really good. The story is awesome and extremely addictive, there are also 3 possible endings you can get based on the decisions you make. Not to mention the AMAZING music and fun boss battles. It has just the right amount of difficulty
Yeah, the music in that game is hands down my favorite music track in any game ever. My favorite port is the Steam one, just because of the graphics improvements, and the seasonal graphics. Those are so cool
